The next TT has suddenly popped up.

Tak my friend :) What's your score at Spa?
I hope it will hold till Thursday because I have ZERO motivation to improve it.
Not so far from your time, 2:42,722, should hold for silver to the next one on thursday, tried going for gold, but I can't find 2 seconds anywhere.
I'm like you for the TT at Spa !!!! I don't have the medal with my 2'41'887 and to see the time to get this medal so far that I also have no more motivation. It will only be a silver medal but it doesn't matter. So I focus on BMB. I had lost my gold medal at the beginning, then I won it with a time of 1'13'813 but unfortunately I have just lost it again for a few seconds. So I'm going to fight to get it again, but I'm going to have to manage to take the last corner before the big curve perfectly, because that's really a disaster !!!!

Yes, and I think we are legion to be happy with the silver medal at Spa. It's a pity because I really love this fantastic circuit. I agree, silver is already a good reward for this TT.

I'm sure you'll manage another gold on BMB because basques never give up, as everyone knows :D Anyway, you'll completly deserve this!

OK through sheer luck I got a 1:12.9! And thatā€™s with a 21.1 in the first sector when a 20.8 is possible. But however much I try I can never replicate my sector 2 and 3 so I think best to quit now.
Glad I didnā€™t quit. Managed to get a 20.9 first sector and got a final lap of 1:12.6!! Made it to top 100 which Iā€™m astonished at. OK it was decent chunk of hours, but shaving those few tenths off has been great.

Optimal is 2 tenths quicker in sector 1 which would put me top 50. Maybe if it keeps raining this weekendā€¦

(I turned off TC and put controller sensitivity back to 0, not sure which helped most)

Anybody know if Spa is any easier after a few drinks? Perhaps wet lap while not being particularly dry yourself maybe enhances performance?

Let's find out ...
Solid evidence here that it does.
I'm not quite there yet... I'll have an extra glass of wine over lunch with friends today; that is the push I need to nail it this evening!

It worked. And judging by that last corner, there is room for improvement.

You guys here made me to come back to Spa for a final run and at this moment I'm in silver territory! It feels like a victory and more precious than some gold medals.

I turned TC to zero and let saargasm86 guide me... (thanks for sharing your laps!)
Happy lap dancing! šŸ˜‰

Wow, bravo!! Glad to see you in silver territory, we all know how it's hard to score a decent lap here.

It's not because of the track or the wet surface but the lack of stripes. Here is my not so subtle approach to get a lot of them at the Viper... @Saargasm: again thanks to your ghost! It is also silver for me.

After a few laps where everything went wrong, I finally managed to get the gold medal. At the top of the ranking, the šŸ‘½šŸ‘½ will have to calm down because I don't want to fight so much to get it back every time !!!! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
A time of 1'13'563 with an optimal time of 1'13'508.

Been away from GT7 for a while (beacuse of that specific diabolic ARPG in its fourth iteration), but yesterday with a couple of days left I tried Spa.
I was going for a couple of hours session (planned to stop at midnight at max), that ended much later :P
In the end I did 2:40.2 a few times, but with an optimal time of 2:39.5, I just cant connect a complete lap...

After a while I was in the "one more lap curse", my performance was deteriorating and clock reading 3 AM...

I will try again this evening, we'll see...!

Went for a 2nd attempt with 3 stints at Blue Moon Bay today. Car felt heavy and after around 110 km I immediately took the first lap under 1:14. Will definitely have another go later on. Opt should be achievable.

While copying the screenshots from today, I grabbed the ones from Spa the other day, too.
