Work on Eau Rouge. You are talking about a whole second gain for that section alone. Since it is the beginning of a lap, no big deal if you bin it.
I did some binning session yesterday. No time improvement, but some more confidence in eau rouge - radillon.
I stay more in the middle of the track before the change of slope to maximize the left-right angle, and applied your advice.
I also realized I have to anticipate the moment I start steering to the right. I have more confidence now, and couple of times had the feeling of what may happen if I nail it, being able to go through radillon without sweating and praying too much.

I also had two close-to-good laps, but threw them in the cones of Paul Frere and Stavelot.

Will try again over the week end.

I like Spa a lot, so just having this little improvement made me happy!

@Gogga you should see and follow @GlockPants replays on that CE, he is (much) faster than me !
I think you currently have me on the Full Lap and maybe a couple of sectors on the TM CE. I moved on after clearing Gold on the Full Lap as I wanted to move to the Supra. The Mazda is nervous and lacks traction over all the elevation changes, like the tune they used has 0 downforce. The Supra feels confident and stable in comparison.

Maybe on some CEs sectors (for once) but admit it, you're much faster on TTs :D

Fully agree about the cars differences. And it's probably worste on AT...

Man wat a iconic combo this is, I sort of forgot how technical this track is with al his elevations, that combined with a squirly heavy boost Supra is so much fun, but also so frustrating, I threw somany fast laps away on the last chicane and exit of it.

But the one corner I still don't understand is T11, it so weird, cant seem to find a good flow, and when I think I did it looks stupidly slow.....
So prob can find some good time there but this is it for this morning.

After 300km I did enter the 51's 😁 not the best lap, but the fastest of the session.

I'm still trying to figure out how to drive this darn thing. Optimal was probably a high 1:51.6s
When you have an optimum of a high 51.6 there is nothing wrong with the way you drive it 🤣🤣

Didn't had much time this morning, so I wasn't fully concentrated and couldn't improve my PB.
I only had a promising optimal at 1:54 flat.
#KeepPushing

I've took a look at the current ranking - congrats aliens and humans - and obviously, there's clearly a conspiracy there... I don't take it personally but it's a provocation  !!

Careful everyone, you may consider some guys* as friends but, they only want to take your seat in the rankings... :D (good news, @Gorefast is still "sleeping").

I'll give more time to this awesome TT this afternoon, and I really hope to set the truth straight!! :dopey:

* you will recognize them easily, they have the same flag...

Hat off maestro!

Problem is I didn't understand how I got those optimal sector time ..nor I could duplicate them.

Part of the problem is I couldn't get the car to do what I want it to do. Especially in those slow speed corners....I feel like everything I do trying to get it rotate is just making it understeer more. On exit, the big ass turbo makes applying power so difficult.....too little throttle and you don't get ****. A bit too much and the car will turn into Jeremy Clarkson screaming "POWERRRRRRR!!!!!!" and spin around like a drunken Orangutan.

True, it's definitely a hard one on power delivery due to that huge single truck snail thing fitted 🤣
I collected a few tenths by using 4th way more than I usually do, but the final chicane has to be in 3th on exit, I already died more here than what i invalidated on Spa 🤣
For me 3 corners which I mostly stuff up....

1: after the first tunnel the right hander...
I already did some serious front end scraping there

2. T11....No words..... I just suck at it

3. Chicane..... do or die on the exit in 3th...
And just hold on when Greddy wakes up..

I'm sure you'll hit the 51's soon and probl. beat me by a tenth or so 😁👌🙏

I won't try mountain yet , don't wanna " stick " with Sarah and the deep breath stuff 😂 .
I will take my chances in Spa , although i believe my gold there is secure.
Just want to see the timer under the damn 42's .

As for all the guys here that take the gold and with a good margin in their first try , only this i can say .

You're a beast! Tell us your secret 😆
Main thing that helped me was that I basically always exit corners in a gear higher than I felt like I should be. Out the first tunnel, I'm in 4th, through the second sector, I keep it in 4th through both tunnels, etc.

The car loves to kick its ass out and when it does, it bleeds off a lot of time - minimising any wheelspin through gear usage lets you keep the power planted down and lets the turbo zoot up quicker to help you out on exit.

Hello everyone! I recently joined this impressive group and I appreciate all the knowledge and help that is so readily available to us humans! I am a lurker by nature but I will contribute from time to time...:) I was really struggling with the Supra at Trial Mountain having to use AT and TC:1 to get a lap recorded. I just couldn't drive the car and it was pissing me off! I hooked up my pedals to my laptop and checked for any updates and used the calibrate section to double check my settings and everything looked great! I guess I suck this week...:irked:

I took well over a year off from GT7 and while looking to change a setting on my wheel, I noticed something that I missed before or it was added while I was away - Options / Controllers / Steering Controller Settings - what is this? I clicked on it and it registered my wheel and pedal combination and it allowed me to "calibrate" my pedals. I did the brake and accelerator and noticed a bit of a dead zone on the top of the gas pedal but not too bad. I don't remember any previous GT game (I started on GT5) allowing me to calibrate my pedals...

I went back to the TT and bang, I had much finer control over the accelerator and I can drive the car now in MT and TC:0 - I can feel where I am slow and where I need to work on smoothing my inputs to secure my gold time. I am back to looking forward to this TT and I need to put a lot of work into securing a Gold time but the experience changed dramatically after visiting the Steering Controller Setting page.

Unfortunately I didn't have much time for a longer stint to try out the top time techniques. Only 10 laps or so.

But I did manage some improvement, not good enough to get back into Gold. But there's still plenty of time to get one nailed down.

I knew I felt something rumble during my stint too. Playing in VR, I was thinking "Dang, when did I get a motion rig!"

Epicenter literally a 15 minute drive from me.

I’m 50 miles due south of you and just outside the pink zone. All quiet here 🤞

What a torture today, hundreds of restarts mainly because of first two corners, that I can't learn how to drive it...
Same with chicane at the end, if I even reach it, I'm mostly losing 0.5-1second there!

Tough as I expected due Gr. 3 car, which I don't like, though they are far most anticipated in the game.

Three sessions today, 600 kilometers passed and improvement came late in evening session, after 450km.
First 53.707, then this:

And again, just as yesterday, I'm practically in the gold, but I'm not and. going to sleep with that fact.

Maybe I lose will on this one and enjoy AC Origins far more.

BTW, today I reached 100 hours of playing GT7 on PS5...

I’m in Thousand Oaks and didn’t feel it here. I was running around work so that could be why.
Do you mind if I send you a FR it would be great to have someone in my time zone.

10 laps at Trial Mountain, not a lot of progress, only went deeper into bronze territory, silver will not be easy.

Need to find the good line on some corners and be more consistent on those where I am ~ok

Replay shared for friends, but lot of work to do, not even watched a lap guide for now.

But you made good progression right there, and it's still early, almost there!, keep it up!
