The latest guide is here, glad to see my car profiles are working correctly to based on current times haha! Hopefully this guide can add a few tips/help to what I imagine alot of peoples already very large experience at Bathurst!

Man, I havent tackle Bathurst properly since GTS but man, seeing you are just under 1.59 is not encouraging for me, another TT that I feel I'm gonna spend a lot of time on. Mountain pass is super hard on controller and I still dont have my wheel ready (dont ask), at least it's RS.
So how will you tackle the mountain? Idk how I will, there's so many esses, downhill parts and turns you have to be a genius to navigate in a quick manner. My goal is 2 minutes even, but that's a big if.
I dont think I've run a sub 2mn in a Gr3 car yet in Mount panorama, I mean a bop one off course. I'm aiming for a 2.01.xxx times. I guess I'll have a better idea after tonight and some tries.

Whooopie doo.....put 60ish km into it to test out the track and spent most of my time spining out in the uphill section or scrapping walls going downhill. Best invalided lap I did was a 2:02....yeah....not doing very well in the downhill section (sector 3)....

Mount Doom is right in the article, I feel doomed there as I am weak at Bathhurst! In any type of car whether it's road, street or group cars.

Well guys the new TT is here, Group 3 cars at Mount Panorama! Are you ready to tackle the mountain!? I'm not usually that good on this track, so I need to learn from the pros of it! I do not like the Toyota Supra Gr. 3 car. I may start with the BMW one or the Porsche RSR. Well done Tidgney for getting the top time so far, I saw your name on the #1 spot!

You guys call it the Mountain.....I'll keep calling it the hallway lol

This is going to be a tough one to get good time. I'm reasonable confident that I can get to the low 2:00s (maybe 2:00.3s or .4s)....but not too sure if I can get into the 1:59s.

BOOM! I clocked a 1'58.007 time at AP. I'm trying every car there is until I get in the low 1'55.000's. I'm like a machine, I'm unstoppable and relentless, I'm gonna find those missing 4-5 seconds like Superman can beat the hell out of his foes.
Nice job Chris, and my advice, once you have a car that feels good stick to it, get to know it's strong points, and beat the weakpoints, instead of hopping in a different car each session!

Good job! you got this!

Several positives sessions of 5/10 laps in a row at Autopolis with the NSX (but not only...) but without any improvement (for now...).

Mostly in a range of 1:55.7xx to 1:56.0xx still without ghost, video, drugs, or illegal substances like a wheel, pedals and so on...

I trend to "over drive" the car which isn't the best practice to score a decent lap. My objective is still to enter the "Sub 1:55" club.

Think positive like @Chris30

Hope to enter the " yellow" 1.54 sub.....marine but to be honest, I'll do a week to talk you again😂

Car performance is super interesting here. The Supra as the perceived meta car only in 5th place, behind the Ferrari. And the F-Type in the lead.
This is a clumsy graph, but gives an idea of a point I want to get across - averages can be deceptive. The red line is average and the vertical black line for each car is range from min to max time by that car. Those with larger time ranges, especially with high volume (total people using the car) probably have better potential than their averages suggest.

Nooo don't get me wrong, I'm very positive as I know it's only a matter of time to gain 0.6 sec on my current PB. And "Sub 1:55" would be enough for me, I'm not an alien to score at "Sub 1:54".... :D

I've tested the Citroen but I'm not yet convinced. I'll give another try later.
I've also tested 1 or 2 others cars and I'll possibly swtich for one of these, as I'm already as faster as the NSX just after 3 laps.

So if I interpret correctly, the Ferrari 458 and the M-B SLS have the greatest potential and are among the fastest too ?
