And in the article @Famine wrote it said "They will run to December 5 and offer double the usual rewards, which are based upon your time gap to the best time globally; a maximum of 4,000,000cr will be available for a Gold time".

Interesting to note. Of course, there were select Sport mode races with the little icon that showed an increased payout (Daily race As as well as the Nations/Manu races). Something seems extra odd because the Escudo TT is over (thank dog!!!) but it still shows as ending on the 12th on the site and doesn't look like a new one has replaced it yet.
Anyway, just glad my .063" buffer was good enough. Gonna take my 2mil and run with it.

I had a 1.02.798 going into yesterday that I just couldn’t improve for my life. Last night before bed, I decided to give it one more go. Almost 700 miles later, I got it down to 1.02.568. First time I got gold.
But now the skin on my hands is sore and so is every muscle on my left arm and shoulder lol. Also didn’t anticipate going to bed at 2am. Hopefully I don’t wait until the last minute for the next one.

Yeah, I thought we were getting 3.5mil, ie the bronze/silver and gold payouts for this one. Or double the listed payouts. Something...
Knew I was wasting my time on this; should have just accepted silver and ran Sarthe over the last few days. Would have made WAY more credits, like 3-4x more

I already know this won't happen but if only there was interest for every hour PD is late paying the double money. As crazy as interest rates are nowadays if it goes much longer I could actually afford one expensive car.

I didn't know about the double payout but apparently none of us got it either...
Nope. When the TT ends you immediately get the payout and the new TT appears.
