So Spa is a track I have done a few laps around since getting the ps5 a couple of weeks ago (and remembered it from years ago). Did 6 or 8 laps using an Audi LMs Evo that I’d not driven before (which seemed nice) and got down to a 2.25 easily enough but there’s still a lot left on the table obviously. Question for the collective - what’s your preferred car out of the available for this one?

I actually love Spa!, beautiful scenery if you ask me, and if i can remember correctly a GR3 on hards does a no lift on Blanchimont right?, man that corner is always so satisfying!

Tried hard for silver at LeMans but couldn't find the last second or so that I needed..... oh well, it was very enjoyable all the same.
Thought I'd enjoy Barcelona, but not doing so yet as I can't get the hang of this car on this track.
New one looks great and glad to have a TT where we get to choose a car - seems like some time since we had that.

I always go for the Nissan GTR around Spa with Gr3. No reason, other than this was the go to car in GT Sport around this track for a while. But it just so happened that I did a livery for the Audi earlier this week, so maybe I will give that a spin seeing as it is dominating the leader board.

Just go with the car that suits you the most. In top 50 we have Audi, NSX, Corvette, AMG 20, 911, RS01... Every single car can set a good time if you nail the lap.
I tried the Audi, I just don't know how to drive it on the egde, it's nice and ok, but it requires a different style obviosly. I was struggling to even get into the 2:18 with it, I finally set a time of 2:18.783 I think, and then I saw the leader was in the NSX '00, tried that, and literally on the second lap I nailed a 2:18.2xx... After that, 2:18.1, and I'm aiming for 2:17s now and then I'm done. The NSX just suits me better somehow, it's easier to drive fast, at least for my style of driving I guess... So be sure to try at least 3-4 cars for at least 5 laps each, before you go deep into the grind.

Hmmm....the NSX drives pretty nice. Not 100% sure I will stick with it or going meta.

To be honest there may be a meta but I would just pick the car you enjoy to drive the most. I think nearly all cars can get gold with it (Maybe I should try the worst one from my car profiles)? Here's the guide for those struggling, I got a bit frustrated this morning as I can see a mid 16 all but I kept doing something stupid on any 1 corner, so maybe expect me to jump back on later after work haha! Speaking of which it's also why its later than normal as its been a very busy day with work to!

The Gr3 BoP is in a pretty good place right now. It's not perfect but it's better than it's ever been since game launch, IMO. Most people - myself included - see what the leaders use and just go with that. However, if that car doesn't suit you, many others will be very good as well.
I hate to give any recommendations since I've not done it yet, but if I were to go FR for example, I'd start with the Supra, 20 AMG, or maybe even the Evo.

I thought i was well prepared through the 1hr race at Spa. 3,02% in the Audi after some laps. Again a little bit harder than i thought. I am on holidays until next Thursday. I will see where the time lands and which cars are preferred (please ones that are easy flatout for a controller casual through Eau Rogue) by then and try hard for gold.
Edit: No Meta? Ok, than i will of course go for AMG '20, Supra '99 and the Mazda Vision.

Oh, this is going to be fun!!
I'm definitely in catch-up mode now, as I haven't even started Catalunya yet. Didn't even have time for one last stint at LeMans to try and get into the 38s.
But Spa is one of my favorite tracks, so I will definitely need to find some time to give a worthy effort to this TT.
Might be able to get some seat time tonight, but, if not, definitely on Saturday!
Hmm... I'll need every advantage I can get, so I'll probably stick with the Audi... but I 'm a big NSX fan so I may have to give it a few laps for comparison

Then 2 laps with the Audi and i found it very hard to drive. Especially through Eau Rouge. 2:21.9xx.. again
Then a couple of laps with my manu brand. First sniff of gold 😅
Gonna try a couple different cars in the next days and see what works for me and what doesn't 🙈

Happy "Hot" Thursday,yesterday was 40c with humidity,today's supposed to be hotter,A/C is on,Euro24 on the 65".....and Spa is the new TT,does it get any better?😅....collected my first Gold as an A driver,😊,Luv Spa,opt was 19.7,be putting some time in on this one.

I love how there is an E ranked player at 13th. With that time, they would dominate Sport races if they ever partake.
