Since when did you get abducted??
You are posting some serious times lately!
Nice!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Not abducted yet, still haven't even come close to a GTP gold.
Hopefully with the way you people encourage and instruct me, I'll get there.
Great time BTW, a TT never feels right unless you're way ahead of me.
I envy all of you in the top 100, even who are better than 2%, I lack a bit a step forward to get into 2%, i usually stay between 2,5-3%.
Keep at it. You'll get there. I was pretty much where you are a year ago. I set the goal for 2024 of being below 2.4%. That way I could avoid the Thursday morning DeBruin/L_Shooter surprises that found me finishing in silver. So far, I have found the biggest step is consistent corner exits.
That way you have a consistent speed for the next breaking point. It shows up on all cars, but is emphasized on EV type cars that are heavy. fast and have poor brakes. 5 meters difference in the right breaking point caused by that 2km entry speed difference can be the difference between bad, great,
and red lap for the corner.
If you learn by reading/application I found "speed secrets" to be helpful. On You Tube, Tidgney has a series going back to GT Sport that is helpful and his weekly stuff is great, I contrast his time trial tutorials with theKie25, sometimes one has something that works better for me than the other. I used to compare with Mistah MCA, but he seems to have taken a little break from GT7. Driver 61 has some good info, and Suellio Almeida has some good stuff. You don't need to pay for things if you can't or don't want to. The only things that I have ever paid for in money are the speed secret books. The rest of my payments have been in time and embarrassment.
I'm still not GTP gold class, but I appear to be improving. Take what I have said to be worth exactly what you paid for it, but hopefully something in there helps.
Best Regards,
Ken
