The one good thing about not being able to get that battery powered Porsche around the track is it doesn't register as entering the event! 🤣
Yeah, that is so true, xD. Maybe it's good I don't have my console atm because I don't like RBR, you have to be careful for every turn you take because PD is strict on the track limits. Good luck in these new TT's, maybe you'll get lucky and grab a silver time if you work hard enough. So I'll just sit back and watch you guys compete and race for the best lap. I can look at some of y'all's Youtube videos and runs for whoever has an account there.

Hi there!

I woke up earlier than I should (1am) to watch the F1 qualy at 3am here in Brazil. Then I booted up the PS4 and went to the Wuthering Heights again, and this time I got a nice new PB.
1:22:085 😎

Almost sub 22'... Almost....

The lap

Morning folks,

I wasn't planning to EV again but woke up early and thought.....why not 🤣
First 10 laps I couldn't even het below 1:22.000 and was frustrated to the bone.
Then turned down a bit on the agression again and that definitely is what this plane needs, easy......patience.....slow steering inputs and not a heavy finger on the throttle trigger on the exits.
This lap a bit better exit on Remus T3 but T1 was far worse than my OPT so there is another tenth.
But my final sector was on fire. ( for me 🤣 )

Tried some laps without TCS but could not be that delicate on the throttle input , managed a sub 22 but not even close to my fastest with TCS today.

Across the line in 1:21.382.

Not to Shaabbbyy at all

Have a good weekend people 🙏

So, I've never tasted the top 100 before. I have an opt with 3 tenths to find.

I think the leaders time is slow still. Can catch and overtake him in the final sector so I don't think the gold time will get any easier folks.

Congrats on licking that Top100 mate, that's fire!.
I wonder how much Kaj can take off, S1 he is absurdly fast due to his T1, I just can't keep up whatever I do but his last sector needs work cause I even gained on him on several laps this morning.

we will see were it ends 🤣

great job!
I guess a few days off and skipping the RallyCross was good for my mind and body.
Hopefully starting another Top 1000 streak.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Not abducted yet, still haven't even come close to a GTP gold.
Hopefully with the way you people encourage and instruct me, I'll get there.

Great time BTW, a TT never feels right unless you're way ahead of me.

I envy all of you in the top 100, even who are better than 2%, I lack a bit a step forward to get into 2%, i usually stay between 2,5-3%.
Keep at it. You'll get there. I was pretty much where you are a year ago. I set the goal for 2024 of being below 2.4%. That way I could avoid the Thursday morning DeBruin/L_Shooter surprises that found me finishing in silver. So far, I have found the biggest step is consistent corner exits.
That way you have a consistent speed for the next breaking point. It shows up on all cars, but is emphasized on EV type cars that are heavy. fast and have poor brakes. 5 meters difference in the right breaking point caused by that 2km entry speed difference can be the difference between bad, great,
and red lap for the corner.

If you learn by reading/application I found "speed secrets" to be helpful. On You Tube, Tidgney has a series going back to GT Sport that is helpful and his weekly stuff is great, I contrast his time trial tutorials with theKie25, sometimes one has something that works better for me than the other. I used to compare with Mistah MCA, but he seems to have taken a little break from GT7. Driver 61 has some good info, and Suellio Almeida has some good stuff. You don't need to pay for things if you can't or don't want to. The only things that I have ever paid for in money are the speed secret books. The rest of my payments have been in time and embarrassment.

I'm still not GTP gold class, but I appear to be improving. Take what I have said to be worth exactly what you paid for it, but hopefully something in there helps.

Best Regards,
Ken

With my previous time being only 0.011s from dropping out of Gold, I had no choice but to try again - with tiny bit of handbrake in T4-5 this time. Didn't turn out too badly I suppose. :) For some reason I can never replicate the 12.5 sector 1 that most of you are doing, but that sector 2 literally saved my lap.

I'm usually around that range too, but for some reason I'm much faster on this TT. I gave it another go and got my time down to 1:21.703. I still think there's a couple of tenths in me. I even managed to beat the WR ghost through the final sector  A very weird one, either the aliens are holding something back or this combo is somehow perfect for me, even though I don't like the car all that much.

Hi,

I have a disaster on my hands here. A disaster of unimaginable magnitude!

There has been a storm come through these parts. It has taken the telephone lines down. I have no internet connection. Only a mobile phone signal.

This means I am going have to talk with my wife about “stuff”!

What am I going to do???

They say they might be able to get it all repaired by Wednesday!!!

😕😕😕

Best regards to all here.

Ian.

Personally I chose my partner because I enjoy talking to them so if I were you I would probably try and go back in time and do that first.

Hello Nebuc72

I fear you may have missed the “tongue in cheek” element of my post.

I love her to bits and wouldn’t change a single thing about her. 🥰

Having no internet is a huge inconvenience though. I can’t use GT7. She can’t watch the TV. So this evening we are going to make dinner, listen to music, chat and play cards. Oh… and drink wine!

Regards.

Ian.

I do fear you missed the tongue in cheek element of mine too considering the (current) human impossibility of time travel!

Are people doing 12.5? Ah dear, I’m near two tenths down every sector one then. I only started paying attention to the splits on my last session but was usually mid .7~ 🥲

Just gave the GR Yaris @ Catalunya Rallycross time trial a swing. I ended up getting a time that’s 6.66% off the top and I don’t see myself getting into silver range.

But that said, my time is also in the top 10k, so it seems clear to me that I’m far from the only one struggling with this one.
