Time Trial Discussion

Put in a final ditch effort with the GR Yaris at Barcelona, really hope RB Shooter doesn't decide to improve the top time by another tenth or more. Getting flashbacks to the last offroad trial, also with the GR Yaris around Lake Louise, where RB set a monster time right at the final hour and booted me back to silver.

Spent an 1.5hours last night trying to improve my time as I was right at the cusp of gold. Only managed to improve by 1 tenth with an optimum .300. New best time came after very gradual improvements of 0.01 every few laps. Quite a painstaking task and I still don't feel confident about the gold. I think its safe to say I'm not a fan of the rallying

Also put an initial time in with the Mission X. This thing begrudgingly made me turn track control on 1, too much wheel spin all the way up to 200km/h without it, followed subsequently by some of the world's longest braking distances. Don't think I'll be putting too much more time in here, trying to nail the track limits of Redbull Ring is quite a pain.

Sorry @bliprunner i decided to hunt for a 1:20.xxx tonight as it might be my last chance. Yeah, this one is frustrating. Again I think there might be a tyre problem on using ‘retry’ in game so my advice to anyone trying; exit to the menu and start again if you crash or want to retry, there’s definitely a fall off in grip after a retry or two so.. PD still hasn’t fixed that glitch. Luckily I didn’t lose my mind like using the X2019 but I still couldn’t say I was enjoying myself.

Dumb car, average track.

ABS weak was holding me back so anyone using that, try ABS normal. TC2 was my fave too, I tried all variations but this worked best for me. Currently between @Tidgney and @Doodle on the table which is cool even if I am an assist using little b1tch!!

@Gomario JSP we shall see, the Yaris is supposed to be just for winter

Got comfortably into silver on my first try with the Porsche, and since I don't enjoy driving that thing I'll take my million and rest. Happy to see the Barcelona Rally Cross TT vanish, and I wouldn't mind if it never came back. It just didn't work for me at all – couldn't even get a bronze time.

Finally got gold in the Yaris (46.503) which took way too long and I never want to drive that car for a long time

Seriously difficult. For me, probably the toughest one out of all 118 TT's.
