1.24 Club with the Megane, very easy and enjoyable TT 👌🏻
And another 4 millions in the bank
Yeah, ASM (active stability management in English). I doubt that’ll be of benefit here though, I think it only works somewhat OK if the car has an absolute abundance of power (the McLaren VGT at Suzuka was a TT where I used that), which a Gr.4 car really doesn’t — the opposite if something. That said, I’ll try anything here. Miles off pace.
I discovered a while back that setting ABS to 'weak' instead of 'default' helped turn in on Gr. 3. cars. Ever since then I've been using that as my standard setting, and haven't had any issues. This might be just a matter of driving style.Ok, I checked, I have CSA set to weak, and ABS default.
I know some people definitely are, I'm not one of them though. 🤷♂️ Even though I still like to play with DualSense for fun since GT1 on OG PS, I'm almost always faster with wheel especially since I use VR with wheel and flat screen with controller. On the rare occasion I won't be able to beat my pad lap with wheel though. But it boggles my mind how someone can be so fast with a controller but I have seen the laps.. they can be alien fast. But i also quit using manual shift on pad when I switched to analog throttle and brake a long time ago, so that slows me way down with controller sometimes. I always use manual shift w/ wheel. My hands cramp up pretty fast trying to manually shift on pad. You’ll soon realize that using a wheel doesn’t make you faster, as controllers offer a lot of built-in assistance. That’s been my experience when switching from a controller to a wheel.
You should become an ambassador for Gillette.I was really THIS close from having my lap invalidated…
Because it's the best a man can get?You should become an ambassador for Gillette.
That’s great that you’re faster with the wheel. I’ve had the same struggle trying to beat my pad lap times sometimes, especially in short license tests with just a couple of corners. On longer tracks, I actually think controllers might be faster—if I could match the precision I have with the wheel. What surprises me the most is that even when I know I’ve driven badly on the pad, I’m usually only a few tenths slower than my best wheel time.I know some people definitely are, I'm not one of them though. 🤷♂️ Even though I still like to play with DualSense for fun since GT1 on OG PS, I'm almost always faster with wheel especially since I use VR with wheel and flat screen with controller. I definitely can't.@Lomic : you can do it!
Your optimum lap tells a different story... There are many ghosts to show how the final lap needs to be taken. It was difficult for me, too, but as I went full throttle towards the outside exit (that piece of tarmac beyond the line) I could gain the missing tenths.I definitely can't.
Tried this morning with zero assists.

Last turn is much worse for me with no CSA, it is already coin flip usually, now it is 1 in 10 that does not end up in 0.5s lost.
Plus I found ways of invalidating the lap I could thought possible (like entering T11)
115 laps until now and I am fed up with this TT, it does not click for me.
I am following @Pesselles' ghost which is a 2:05.5X if my memory is correct so around 2s faster than me, I think it is fast enough so I can keep quite close contact with the ghost most of the lap (thanks to resets)There are many ghosts to show how the final lap needs to be taken.
My optimal from all best sectors is 2:06.176 but I allways bin one or more sectors in a good lap, mostly because some turns are coin flips lap after lap and I never get them right all in the same lap.Knowing your speed it is hard for me to accept that you won't get that "hell yeah!" moment. Silver doesn't fit very well with Spiderman I think...
All good, happy for you ... as long as this isn't the one position that edges me out of top 100 in the endBut after some .8 and .7 laps I finally nailed the chicane and licking the .6 😁🤣 ( sorry @crome )
I believe it's because you use HDR on your PS5.Does someone have any idea what could cause that ?
But the video is ok on my PC before sending to Youtube ? Most content creators don't use HDR then ?I believe it's because you use HDR on your PS5.
I don't do anything to the vid on my PC, just copy it from USB then upload to Youtube. The result is exactly the same when I share it directly from PS5.If you alter the videos on PC, it looks like the software you are using would be causing the issue.
Very likely there is a setting you could change to bring back all the colours.
Just did that (turn off HDR, launch replay, record it and shared it) and it is the same :Like I said, try turning the HDR off on the console, then record and upload and check the difference
