Thought I should give Tsukuba another go. Only improved by ~ .15s and that was hard work. The missing time behind the wheel and with the pad really showes I think. Did the 1 hour Mount Panorama race with the wheel and the TT with the pad and I'm completly exhausted 😔

I thought I would stop by here to complain about the tt in tsukuba. My gold has turned to silver, and I have no idea where to make up the time. Everything is too sensitive here.

But then I thought better of it. If I look at myself a year ago I would have signed up to achieve these results .
So I'll rewrite everything and wish you all to enjoy the achievements, the progress made and the effort expended.
This is the true essence of the time that passes and acts as fuel for the energy to be expended for the time to come

Just did another really quick session at Tsukuba on controller/ flat screen a few minutes ago.
This time I tried CSA strong which I don't think I've ever tried in this game. Saved another 1.5 tenths pretty quickly.

So on this lap I'm using standard PS5 Pro DualSense (the one that came with it, same as OG), auto trans, weak ABS, strong CSA, no TC or any other aids. I think 8 or 9 sensitivity on the controller stick. Seemed much easier to put the power down consistently with Strong CSA.
CSA never even kicked in when it was set to weak on my prior best lap. Now I have to re-learn this TT with wheel/ VR and see what happens. 🤷‍♂️

This TT is deceivingly tricky though. I still lost (gained) almsot a tenth on the 1st sector. It's hard to string together a perfect (for me) lap, even if it's just getting somewhat close to all my personal best sector times. But that sector 2 time was my best yet and made all the differnce.

Managed another small improvement with the NSX, but now im really done with this.

Happy to get that .1, but a bit unhappy with the entry of the final turn. Final corner itself went well thought and i didn't invalid the lap, so more happy than disappointed. 😁

Yes, these down under folks are so fast, they are already a year ahead of us! Well done on that time, may attempt this towards the end of it and see how close I can get.

Morning folks,

Happy newyear for all, hope everybody still has their fingers to compete with al that fireworks 😁🤣

Had one last morning session at Tsukuba and now I am realy done with it..... to much efford for too little progression 🤣🤣

Went from 1:02.306 to a whopping 1:02.298 🤣🤣 but finally into the .2xx at last 🤣🤣

Lots of errors in the lap but it's just impossible to nail everything on this one ...

I'm honestly surprised I made an improvement the last day at Catalunya. Despite that, I am still somewhat disappointed because I lost time in sector 2 (main culprit being too late an entrance into turn 9). I was lucky my car didn't end up sideways upon landing as I hopped the final curb, and it led to my best sector 3 ever. Sector 1 was also a personal best. But the subpar sector 2 meant I was a good tenth and a half off my optimal of .163. Oh, well. I was thisclose to dropping out of the top 500, and this lap popped me up a safe 50 spots.

That chicane still gets me nightmares, worst possible combo of chicane and car 🤣🤣
Glad it's almost over 😁🤣
Tomorrow we probably blast GR3..... hope Daytona is first to be honest.... 😁
 
I'm sort of glad we have a small selection available for Spa, started out with the Suppa and had a descent lap after a dozen ones, then tried the NSX and was almost 2 seconds faster 🤣🤣

First few meters were ok, most difficult for me I guess is getting the NSX rotated....
Plus..... now I have to AGAIN make it a brother from another mother........ again.... a Honda..... 🙈🤣🤣

EDIT: We've already had this combo at Spa. Ugh, I already know I won't strike gold here. However I remember last time, I barely passed silver using the NSX Group 3 car. I already am a warrior, maybe even a Titan. We'll find out this go-round!

@Gomario JSP you having a great year so far? It's the second day of fast TT'ing. If you catch my drift. Are you excited about Spa again? I know we had this combo at least 4 times in a 2-year period. Never gets old.
