Time

Yay! I finally figured out where to adjust the time (date of post, etc.). I had been adjusting the wrong thing! Now, everything is in Eastern Standard Time.

uhhhh jordan i dont think your on eastern standard time because when i post a message it seems to be off by 5 hours im on eastern standard time also

 Yay!  It should be fixed now.  The problem was my time I had set in my profile altered the time I saw on the forums, making me think I had fixed it for everyone.  Man, I'm crazy.  

Is it correct for you, now? Thank you so much for alerting me to this problem!

well its still seems to be off by about 3 minutes but close enough thanx for fixing it

Yeah, actually, you're probably the one who's off by a couple of minutes.    The server time is set to the international atomic clock.

Im on EST and I kinda noticed the time setting was wrong at the start. But once you fixed the time I just had to fix the time diffrence in my profile to 0 hours.

Yeah, I'd say several members will need to change that.

well now it doesnt seem to bother me time is est instead of 0 hours so i can deal with it and your probably right jordan my time is probably the one that is off going by the timeclock at work

Yes, my computer's clock slows down all the time. It can really throw a person off.

check out www.atomtime.com. This is what I use to make sure my computer always has the right time. It connects to the Atomic Clock time server in Boulder, Colorado

Sure does (that's what the atomtime software does).

Oh, no, I mean GTPlanet's forum time.

GT Planet's forum time is about 3 or 4 minutes ahead of the atom time.
