This is just to give DIYers ideas for their next project, results will vary.

Tips
*I glued 2 2" plywood strips to make strut braces, ending up with a strong 1x2 inch piece.
*For the sides, i cut 2 12x14" inch pieces and screwed them together, drew where the struts would go and used the jig saw to cut the shape. Once done, i had 4 pieces that would go on each side.
* i used insert nuts and a bolt with a plastic handle to set the position of the upper arm and the table.

Very awesome. I had a similar idea for a folding rig like this. Never got around to starting it since now I have the space for a full size though I may reference your work to build one anyway. Anyway, very well done sir :cheers:
