Tiny cars - packed with power

This is gonna be a small first post but I really need some advice here. I love the small cars [Golf, Volvo C30 and so on]. Its easy to find good tunes for the cars here - there are many great tuners. But I want a great car with so little PP as possible and its here I get the biggest problem.

Any good advice for a "small car" that can be tuned and still don't breach the 400PP roof?

Cheers!

So you want a car under 400PP that can then be tuned to be competitive at 400PP?

Sorry, always wanted to use that image. :D If you'd rather have a traditional FWD hatchback though, you can't go wrong with a Civic.

[Sorry for removing that wonderful picture when quoting you]
I have been thinking of Miata, my father owns one don't ask wich model, but how much can you tune it? I will have a go at this and try myself but my playtime has a limit since i recently became a father and that takes alot of time.

Yes and no. I don't play online so its a bonus if I could spank some CPU with higher PP then me [not that hard at start tho].

While keeping under 400PP, I'd guess it could be tuned to around 180bhp before you'd be stepping over the 400PP line.

Ah I get you.

Also congratulations on becoming a dad! :D:tup:

I built this to 400PP for the Euro Hot Hatch Seasonal. It's about as mild a tune as you can get, all I've done is add an ECU, custom suspension and diff. It runs well on SH tyres and even better on SS tyres. You could probably drive it on CS tyres, but the suspension was initially setup for a lighter car, so it'll be a bit squirrely.

Any of the FWD Peugeot hatch backs can be kept at or under 400PP and they're all great to drive. If you're going to have a crack at your own build, then I'd suggest not stripping all the weight out. At this level of PP, you'll benefit from having a little extra power.

Otherwise, everything Roj said, inc congrats on your new baby 👍

EDIT:

In fact, whilst I think of it, I also built this. It's a bit specialist, as it was designed to run on tarmac, gravel and snow. On SM or SS tyres, it's a hoot on bumpy tarmac tracks, not so great on smooth tracks though...

I thought I highlighted that picture and was trying to click off it.

I would say the miata is a good bet also.

Toyota GT86, possibly the fastest in the game at 400PP. Stock, small amount of power limiter, best without an oil change probably. (less limiter = more power at 400PP)
