I'm running Brands Hatch in the N300 class, with the LanEvo. I've gotten to 1m50, which is a 4 second improvement compared to my WRX time. Any ways I can get into the high 1m40's?

Thanks.

What you might want to do is get a better tune. If you tuned it at all. A good tune is the difference between a win and a loss.

What driving aids do you use? Usually a good idea to turn them off. ABS can be set to mild if you want to use ABS, since it doesn't do much to your time. Some say the Active Steering can be put on mild too to be faster. But that probably won't work much on your Evo.

Other than that just do several laps, practice makes perfect!

Use the full width of the road, and if you experience under steer on corner entry, try a bit of trail-braking to keep the car's weight on the front wheels. With stock cars, momentum and weight transfer are key.

As well as finding a decent set up and adjusting your car, go and watch some of the replays available on youtube and see how some of the drivers are driving the track, corner speeds and gearing as well as racing line etc.. will help for sure 👍

Thanks, and I keep ABS on low, and I believe I have Active Steering on. Otherwise, I don't run driving aids.

Yeah, I've noticed the weight transfer and how it affects the corner. Heavy braking seems to mess the cornering speeds up alot, and trail braking has been my best option so far. I have the balance set to -2 to keep the weight in the front of the car, keeping the grip on the inside line reasonably nice.

@xxelementalxx you shouldn't triple post. Just warning you now before you do it again. Read the AUP if you haven't, this forum is very strict in what you can and can't do. :)
