Tire Choice

I'm looking for a good set of tires for the Blazer. I want something that offers grip but isn't ungodly expensive.

I had a bit of a incident last night. Lets just say spinnning on dry pavement isn't fun. No I wasn't speeding is was quick jerk to the right to avoid a collision. The thing lost grip at 55mph and I spun.

Any help?

Look at Kumho's. They're damn good tires, and usually quite cheap.

I've never used them, but I know people who have. Met a guy who autocrosses his new Celica, and he uses nothing but Kumhos.

alright I'll look into them...I want to keep my stock rims though. There is not way in hell I want huge rims.

can your blazer use the same type of tires as cars?

i bought bfgoodrich gforce kds for my car. it was kind of a mistake. they are hands down the best street tire out there, but they are twice as expensive as a tire thats almost as good. i will be running straight track tires on a different set of rims when i burn these up so it wont matter what i use on the street.

I may get kumho ecsta mx's or falken azenis next time around for street. They are the closest competitors to the KDs, but cost half as much.

I'm sure Futuras would be cheap as hell too. See if they make Cooper Cobra XST's, or Cooper Cobra Radial GT's , for your size wheel.

What kind of tires do you have on it now?

There Goodyear Eagles LS tires right now.

The tires gotta fit a 16 inch rims... and I know there P235's but thats all I know off hand.

Yes, it's not like he has super crazy monster truck wheels, or anything. All he has to do is find tires that fit the dimensions of his wheels.

I run one of the P-Zero line, they kick ass. Five bucks says he can't use them.

I didn't say they would work. They would work fine, though, if they came in 235/70-16 , or smaller for the sidewall.

Yes, I did. I shot a rabbit from about 10 feet away with my 20ga., and blew its entire right side off. Straight gutted that sum*****. I also shot a ton of birds, trees, mud, water holes, 2 spiders, a grasshopper, weird fungus growing on the ground, 2 powerlines, a mailbox, a realestate sign, and a few piles of cow ****. Basically I just wasted like $20 worth of shells.

Nobody really. If my Dad found out I do stupid crap like that I'm sure he'd be pissed, but he wouldn't punish me, or take my guns, or anything. I set out with the intentions of hunting squirrel, but when I didn't see one freakin' squirrel, I started going a little crazy, as usual. About the only time I don't just start shooting everything in sight is when I go deer hunting. I'm actually really serious when it comes to hunting deer, elk, antelope(pronghorn, whatever), etc.

Pirellis web site was to british I couldn't navigate it to well.

I checked Toyo and they don't have anything that fits in the tires I want.

Dunlop Sport Rover GTX2....Price $83. There made for sports trucks and SUV's.

I realised this at about 3 AM last night when I was up, working. They don't make them in that size, so he can't use them. Therefore, I want my five bucks.

Most people I know put B/F Goodwrench A/T tires on their trucks. Pretty nice tire. I've never used them before though.
