Okay, we all notice (hopefully) that if you put camber on your car and take it to the tracks, you can see the wheels sitting on an angle. Well, last nite I took an Alfa Spider 2.0 to the 400m track and I noticed that if you put sports tires on with normal tires that there is a difference in size. The sports tires clearly make the wheels bigger, since they're supposed to be low-profile. It's kinda hard to notice, but it's there!
I even did a test, and had one of my housemates switch the tires around while I wasn't looking, so that the front would be shod with sports and the rear normals or vice-versa, and then I tried to guess which was which. Tried a couple other cars and there definitely is a difference in size. How cool is that?
