To the lfs gods...

I've been playing the lfs demo for a couple weeks now with my dfp. The problem is no matter how I race, I still can't seem to pull good times. I race as I would in any racing situtation/simulator - Brake hard, set, turn and accelerate. I'm on stock settings which I think could be a problem (yeah thats a plee for good gti setups). Is there anything I should know about? Any suggestions? Thanks

what times are you driving with wich cars?

you could look for a setup at the team inferno site, they have got some pretty fast ones.

the stock setups are very slow, a faster one can easily help you shave 2 or 3 secs of your time. but beware, some of the setups are extremely difficult to drive due to heavy oversteer. if that is the case soften the rear anti-roll bar to make it more driveable.


i have been playing LFS since the first demo was available and just got the DFP yesterday...wow, LFS is a completely new experience with 900° of steering! 👍

When you have a steering wheel it goes much better. I felt the difference 100%. I bought a professional one for a small price on ebay
