HOW MUCH I FRIGGIN' HATE NEW YORK ?....

Is it just me, or does that track not have a very cluttered feel to it ?... Like they stuck too much on the screen.. It looks good, but I find it very had to spot whichever thing gets nominated to braking point etc....

Trying to get past Test 30 btw.

..2nd option : I suck at Gran Turismo... :dopey:

I have real trouble hitting the braking spots on this course too...

Especially as they changed the downshifting display logic from GT3 -> GT4:P...

In GT3 it used to come up in red near to the corner and then flash once you hit the limit it thought was too late...

Now it just flashes when you're about to plow into a wall and too late for you to brake in any decent manner!!

But having said that.... the display thing was sometimes out in GT3 and if you listened to it religiously you wouldn't get the fastest times at all!

I started out hating it, but it's grown on me, great for overtaking under the HUGE braking zones, and good fun running the curbs, it's pretty technical, but with time it's a good track to push on.

i find it to be like in the tests u jst gotta get used to it...the new york takata nsx test was among 2 or 3 others my favorite! its jst a high velocity drift track with an awesome surrounding and unrealistic? these streets do exist jst take a peek at the ending movie...

Use a component video cable and an HDTV and it looks so pretty. You can almost smell the Big Mac cooking at McDonalds at Time Square.

YEP. Component Video cable on a 46 inch HDTV in NEW YORK is awesome!
