Gedi has also apologised. Hoepfully we will see both of you at Tsukuba.

Only a second off; shouldn't really hurt you that much.
Cant seem to get under 1.04 but as we saw in monaco, at race time that all goes out the window.
4 seconds off pace on Tsukuba may make a difference. Monaco is a little different in that, it's not as short & simplistic as Tsukuba.

0.4 seconds off the pace. Be good to have a practice Fri night.

Oh, so your running 1:00.4, not 1:04... That's not bad at all... Just about everyone should be able to run at least 1:00

I can run 1.00.7's consistently with a 59 or even a high 58 possible. This is my best weekend, I'm gonna be giving it everything as other are catching up.

I'm getting into the 0'59s.

Yeah sorry wasn't very clear on the times. Can't break the 1:00 barrier so relying on general race conditions to assist me on the way. Do you think it would be an idea to have some sort of reward for best lap times during the races?

I think it would over complicate things... speaking of which what kind of prize are we looking for the winner of Season 2... Maybe a Level 23 ticket? JGTC car? Idea's?

JGTC is now known as SuperGT. Here's an example of a GT300 SuperGT car:

And here's a GT500 car:

SuperGT is Japan's national racing series, it is to them what the DTM is to Germany.

A Level 23 ticket would be an awesome prize, BTW.

Spme very interesting findings. Although spec wise they are quite different, the current TOCA Car (276hp, 1100kg) is very close in PP compared to the NGTC car (305hp, 1250kg). Now I'm dwelling on whether to allow them to race alongside another, but I don't want one type of car to dominate and another to be left behind. So here are my proposals:

1 - Maybe someone campaigns an NGTC car at the final races of the season at the Nurburgring, as a bit of a competitive test? Then we can tell?

2 - Season 3 - NGTC cars only

3 - Season 3 -NGTC and TOCA Cars, so that means up to 9 different cars on the grid in theory

What do you guys think?

If we can make limitations that allow both types to race equally against one another, I'll look forward to the suggestion #3.

BTW, are we going to have a practice room someday before the next round?

Practice is in the lounge on racenight, 45 mins to 1 hour of it.

Also I have found a solution to people's complaints about pre-race session lengths for Season 3...

I'll be around for practice Fri Night, my PSN Name is The_Boyce so add me then we can practice is someones lounge.

We could just have a separate aranged practice race either soon or pre season 3 some with NGTC and some with TOCA cars?

I would like to have all 9 cars in next season. Of course not all of them will be used (the NGTC Mazda, Lexus and possibly a couple of others). About the teams championship, a maximum of 4 of the same car but no more than 2 cars in a team?

I like the idea of running some test with the new cars.

5 laps race with the actual cars and then 5 laps in the same track with the new cars (or maybe more laps) so we can test how is the handling in the long stints (specially tyres).

After that we can decide if we mix the pack or not.

Naw, NGTC testing should should not be involved in Season 2 events.

👍

If NGTC cars are non-racing trim, factory cars, then ToCA cars should not be included in the NGTC season. For the simple fact that ToCA cars have adjustable front downforce.

NGTC Cars have aero kits and modifications.

Yes, but what hightyme was trying to point out was that the adjustable downforce of such cars is negligible compared to what the current TOCA cars have. Therefore, I'm in favour of having only NGTCs for season 3. I wouldn't be against a side-by-side comparison of the two types of cars, though.

As soon as we know what qualifys as an NGTC

Though I think, in following current BTCC regulations; we should drop 4WD & race FWDs vs. RWDs. As well, turbos should be allowed next season, as were all limited by HP.

👍 Like the idea! :)

Full NGTC Regs are coming very soon. I can confirm no 4WD's are allowed though.

Johnboy and Gedi=:yuck:

Explains how he won in Monza anyways.

Race 2 before tunnel.....
partly my fault as i was hit at the rear which spun me into barrier and i tried my hardest to get out of way but couldnt, sorry to everyone who blames me but i can only take half the blame.

BS

I watched the replay that night and it was vtec going past you. You wouldn't give up (like every other time you were overtaken:tdown:) and you turned in to early and smacked the inside barrier forcing yourself into the barrier. I was watching your onboard because I was investigating how you ruined my race.

2 - Season 3 - NGTC cars only
👍
