Tommy Kaira ZZII Transmission Help?

I have been attempting (Miserably) to make a tune for this car. I am trying to get it to launch in first, and not peg the redline. Also I would like the car to trap around... 157-8 as I know it is possible, I just cant figure it out. If anyone here can offer tips that would be nice, or even numbers, as I have good tunes of my own I can trade. (Drag, Drift, LM/JGTC) Tunes that I would trade for an insane tune. But advice would be awesome.

**I know about the tranny flip too so if need be I can do that.**

mine will run around 156-7... it luanches in first...
do you know how to make a car wheelie online?

p.s. i got my ZZII tune from ZZII master...
 
Reset to default
Final to 4.700
Top speed to 137 (far left)

1st: 3.203
2nd: 2.563
3rd: 2.024
4th: 1.599
5th:1.274
6th: 1.050

Final to 3.870 (should give max 175mph)

0.2 – 0.3 toe seems to give it a better bite when it squats at launch ;)

I wouldn’t worry about redlining 1st with this car, but I’m just a novice so don’t believe a word I say… I’m sure a pro will correct me :D
 
Hey thanks for the help, I tried out those gears. And they worked pretty well. About a door in front of my current ones. I have a feeling I shouldn't be trying to launch this thing in first ^.^ But I have seen ZZII's still whip by my own. :/ Any more advice for what way to tune these gears, or any 4WD car for that matter?

Spring Rate: 15.0 / 18.0

When you mentioned redlining I presumed you were using auto. With manual you can change up quickly to 2nd and minimise the redlining. If you launch in second with those ratios it bogs down too much, but if you up the ratios (keep the spacing) it should be fine for 2nd gear launch.

Maybe some of the fast guys have some advice?

AWD always 1st gear launches
 
I’m no expert, but I’m sure some pro's occasionally have awd 2nd gear setups… might be wrong though ;)
 
Come to think of it, none of my AWD cars launch in a gear other than 1st. My Le Mans did for a while but now it launches in 1st.
