I bet the guy who made this is single, or living at home with his parents ;)

 That guy is way obsessive!

But being my typically suspicious, cynical self i think it's been faked up.

I'm not saying the guy hasn't got that many PC's or that he doesn't run a multi screen video card with several monitors hooked up to it, just that there is no sign of a hub or other network device to keep all the machines running. Also a couple of monitors resting on disk boxes and books so if you were using the set up as it is there it would probably all fall over.....

Maybe the Hubs are behind the computers, but I can definitely see some sort of cabling running to and from the different computers. I know what ya mean about the dodgy monitor positioning unless there on stands?

Pfft I think 6 PS2`s I.linked looked worse than that.

Also they need to purchase a Switchbox, I mean it would save on having a million sets of mice and keybooards

Hmmm, yeah i guess. But i would have made sure the hub was on display, for the photo at least.

I'm comfortable with a 5 screen display, which would be the "plane" view as we have dual screen set ups all over the place here and a slightly older video card would not be too expensive if you were really wanted it.

But i can't see how you would get another PC to display the screen of another PC if it wasn't in view from the host.... Did that make sense?

My comp at work would allow me to hook up 4 screens so yeah, so in theory I think he should only need 1 computer to display all the flight sim screens, With multiple graphics cards. I have a Matrox MMS G100 that can give 4 screens, so maybe if you had 2 graphics cards like that, it might work. But I dont think there would be any software to support stuff like that let alone a flight simulator. On thinking about it it must be a mock up, because as you said how would you get each part of the flight simulators screens on each computer running separately even if they were networked?

Yep, it's actually stopping me from woking right now because i'm thinking so hard about it......

I was thinking of the main PC running a 9 screen display card (which would look like a big square screen) and the host install of PCanywhere. Then running several PC's with a supervisor install of PCanywhere and just showing the relevant part of the 9 screen display on individual PC monitors.........

Arrrgghhhhh, it's a slow day in the office.

?? Whats the point in that? I mean youve got your 1 PC with the 9 display card so why bother hooking up more pc`s to Pcanywhere? THIS IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE!

Thats what GTP is used for. When work is slow just post on GTP, just dont do it when your busy.

Oh hold on are you talking about the picture, or how you would do it in theory?

Yeah, how i would do it in theory.

Flight sims don't do it for me, but part of my job is to develop hardware soultions for nutty situations.

You're absolutely right, when I'm busy, i'm busy that's it, i won't even go on line. It's the only way i can work. But today we're all finished up, but next week is going to be a total *****.

Hmmm...why is there a plastic green cloth on the seat cushion? :odd:

You mean you don't have a plastic green cloth on your seat cushion?

Weirdo!!

It's a cushion, the guy is so anal that his pile infested sphincter has prolapsed!
Ugh...that's what I'm afraid of. I've seen those things used in nursing homes to prevent "accidents"...just makes you wonder... :yuck:

That actually looks just like a heating pad thing we used to have when I was like 4.:reallyodd Very tacky green color. Had a white wire coming out of a corner which plugged into a wall and made it get really warm/hot depending on the settings. I think it was used for headaches or colds or whatever....lie it on a pillow and just relax, but I don't have a clue as to why you'd want a hot ass while flying...:odd:

Nope. 100% Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.
