I asked this question in the tooned thread but it's more of a work in progress thread.

I am wondering what is the best software for doing outline. ie makes the smoothest lines the easiest.

Photoshop
Illustrator
Flash MX
Fireworks

Pros and cons of each would be great.

Thanks

A program that using vector graphics seems to be the logical choice for the smoothest lines.

Illustrator - Adobe
Flash - Macromedia
Freehand - Macromedia

are all vector based programs.

They're all pretty similar at the end of the day. Illustrator is renowned as being the industry standard for vector art and therefore the best. Photoshop is its equal for raster.

Of course, you have to decide whether you want to make vector art or toon art. That might help your decision into what type of program you want.

Ok so who can help me out and show me how to vector in illustrator or post a tutorial or something? I made the outline but no the inside or anything since i dont know how to.
