I think he's referring to the championship races for S drivers only....
It's not only for S drivers.
As far as I know, it's for the top 24 qualifying times - but unsure how they determine these times, or how they reach out to you to try and schedule you.
It's also a longer race than normal.

oh ok I thought it was S drivers... clearly im proven wrong

so it's solely based on qualifying time, not how well you did that week points wise? I am looking for clarification on this. I was under the impression the top 24 world ranking nations cup racers (and manufacturers separately) raced together for bonus points based on how well they scored for that season (or week).

I'm not 100% certain, but I doubt it's based solely on points during the week as some drivers don't show up for a lot of races but then set alien level qualifying times.

you might be right. im looking at your video screen shot and I see a few zero points in the race.
I think it takes into account your previous qualifying times, how many times you've been top 10, previous results etc.
It's not as cut and dry as "you're in the top 24 for this region".
As you can see, even some of the A rated drivers have 0 points - which makes me think that PD reaches out to each "top 24" well in advance and schedules them in for this race, they also probably have a few reserve drivers in case some of the top 24 can't show up at the last second.

I don't know about your region, but in the Americas there are a handful of very fast drivers who hardly ever race the FIA races, it would be a shame they missed out on this race because they haven't accrued points during the week.

I think it's DR dependant, everyone can sign up,the ones that got the highest DR will be selected, there aren´t enough DR S to fill the gap at that time.
And thoose DR A drivers are the closest too S. no other requirement.

i did the other race, on dragon trial if i remember it right. also something like 13 DR S.

Cheers for the replies :) it's cleared up what I thought it was but created so many more questions haha. I thought it would of been good if it was the top 24 in your chosen manufacturer

@Sean Renon We’re not contacted, as Puupke said anyone can enter but the game has some sort of criteria for deciding who gets in. Only thing the website says is that you have to be DR A and SR S minimum.

I do think it’s stupid that it’s not based on championship points though, shouldn’t be able to turn up get a good result and get a top 10 finish in the championship after putting no effort into the rest of the season.

Interesting, I would hope it's based on points - but they need to do a better job with the lobbies as it is if the events are going to go back to being 6 races long.
Last night I got grouped with 17 DR D drivers, one other DR A and a lonesome DR S.
Not a single B or C driver - all of this at SR S.
