I have my favorites for Car and Race Cars over 600PP but I seem to have trouble finding the right non Race cars for the Nur track.

Any suggestions guys?
I'm more interested in handling over top speed specifically for the Nur track.

Thanks!

Well depending on the tires you intend on using, i suggest you try out some of the cars in my garage. Particularly the M3 GTR setup i've recently released at 550PP. It's tuned on sports soft tires but works just as well with racing compounds.

Shhhh Praiano...I've been trying to keep the HSC a secret :sly:

 I think you just cemented the HSC's secret and I'm putting bricks on top now!

Haha. secret like this are not very fair. This car is too fast. I prefer to win a nurburgring race with my yellow bird. This make me happy, but it is the hard way to win for sure.

><(((((°> °°°°°°°°°°°°°°

This is the faster 550PP road car in my opinion. I have tested a lot of them.
HONDA HSC 2003.

After come the LFA and 458 italia M3..... but it is the number 1 and not only on the ring, it is under 2.00 mn on Suzuka.

Just try it and see yourself.

Praino i dont think the LFA should be ranked that highly! it lacks the handling of the 458 and M3. Surely your joking there:sly:

Nope.avi, the LFA and NSX are the cars that PD have ranked to 'killing all others in its class' levels.

550pp

BMW M3 CSL
NSX 02 model
Lexus LFA
Ruf RGT
Lotus Evora

these are also th cars you commenly see in 550pp online races

And yes the Lexus LFA no matter how butt-ugly it is should defenatly be up on that list

Onboy is right , for me the LFA is the second faster 550pp road car after the HSC, very close to NSX ,458 , M3... The only thing is that the LFA need a good tune. The stock is slower than the others yes.

For 500-520 I like using my Trial Celica (516 max-tuned).
It is pretty decent for a FWD-Car. Almost no Understeer nice lift-off-Oversteer nice looks and Sound.
Sports or Racing Tires and try what I did: Read the description and take her stock to the Ring => WOW

Other than that for the 500-550pp range:
Amuse R1
Amuse R1 street version
Motorsports Elise
Ruf 3400S / BTR / RGT
Toyota FT-86 Concept and G-sport version and the 86 GT :D
BMW Z4 M-Coupe

Others where mentioned

around 500 - 510 pp:
adding to the fabulous ones mentioned above,
Lotus Elise 111R
Honda S2000 variants (street)
Nissan Z33 variants (street, try that standard one)
Ferrari 512BB '76, can beat cars 35 years younger, but needs pilot & tune to minimise power oversteer, to navigate it. I may lack in turning stability, but catches up to Everyone in straights. (can someone help me tune it for turns? :))
Lancia Stratos (same as Ferrari), these two cars can top at 300km/hr in semi drift.
Commodore Holden
New Aston Vantage '10 (Stock settings competes with them right up there)
Audi RS6 (not the avant), @ 1,840kg, good luck to those who try to ram you off. Don't let it's weight make you think it can't navigate, it bloody well can.
and of course "Any concept car" that GT5 offers, it's as if they have no rev limiters.

Praino, as i reviewed yours the LFA is the most difficult to drive out of the list and your tunes. ANd i its not as consistent to do laps as the others, its very track specific i think.

The Nissan GT-R concept (tokyo auto saloon) is pretty good. The acceleration from standing start is probably the best for it's performance class, so for a good start at the Ring it's a good choise. The handling is okay, it's 4wd so understeer may be an issue but apart from that it's well balanced. Top speed is it's achilles heel, so make sure you have someone to draft behind on the straights and try to get some distance between you and the car behind before coming on to the last straight.

Lotus Esprit is a really nice car for that performance range! It has a high top speed, and although you may gain some extra points for flamboyant driving in the corners, the handling is not bad. It's a lot of fun to drive this car, it feels more wild as compared to the GT-R concept, and when you put the pedal to the metal you can almost feel the G-force :)

i am sorry but i do not agree , using the Brazilian tune i have np whatsoever running 2.18.xxx on spa , not taking great chances ....
It is the most comfortable LFA tune i have driven so far .
But this proves a very important point tho .
Car and more important tunes are very different for different drivers .
What is a good tune for person A might be very difficult to drive for person B.

on a side note for 550PP my lap-record is set with a BMW CSL M3 :yuck:

With the Nurburgring nordschleife for me and my times as a base , 550PP road cars / racing soft.

1-Honda HSC 2003 = 6.32
2-LFA = 6.33
3-458 italia / R8 4.2 / and some other 2 or 3 i dont remember 6.34 / 6.35

And a lot of cars ,about 20 cars between 6.35 and 6.40. Including the F40 at 6.38.

Right, that s why i race now the Nurb 24 H mostly, over 5 people on the nordschleife it s a hell , you can pass the slower people on the circuit and fight with the best during the rest of the race.. Best option i think.

Yes , also true. When you check the settings of really fast people like Div 1 are running, its so sharp that for me it is impossible to drive. At my level, and the level of the most of the GT player, need to feel comfortable and safe first. Then because of this you go fast.

i try to drive this yesterday, but its not faster for me than my own tune. This people are 5 seconds faster than me on Fuji...... :ouch::ouch: E.T for sure.....

ehm.... nobody tried "the best road car"?

For me the Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car '98 is by far the best road car in game.. and the HSC can't compete with it... and maybe a detuned ZZII(is it a road car?) can also beat the HSC but won't handle as good as the Honda does... ;)

For me a road car with front aero is not a ´´road car´´´. Of course , the nissan is a beast. The ZZ is not faster than Honda HSC , even with the little front aero.

Not too sure about that, mate...

Did a test lap yesterday with praiano63 HSC and it was very fast and stable. Will risk saying the´re pretty close...
One trully fact is that the R390 is more powerful, but sometimes speed isnt everything.

Chat you soon mate. :)

I can do 3-4s better with the nissan.. I am an average driver but the nissan is the only 550pp car tha I can push under 7 min wih SS tires..

look nether do I consider the nissan as a road car but if you can run in the non race car sesonal events than you must admit it is a road car..

you guys are talking about the best 550pp road car.. well... I was just wondering why there is no 390.. :)
