What are the requirements for these races? I tried to look but didn't find clear answers. Is the DR rating biggest factor?

I haven't got much time and opportunities recently to raise my DR and it's still A. I tried to get in top24 race at suzuka and was ranked 37th. I don't believe it could be just DR ranking as my rank couldn't be that high compared to others.. So does the qualification time matter or something else? My best time was almost in top ten list. I didn't participate in any previous events.

Would be nice to know how the get in top race so I could focus my playtime to get in.
 
I really do think it's the DR. You're matched against other drivers in your region so that's already a good population of the high ranked drivers removed from the matchmaking pool. Add to that the fact that not every single A-S ranked player will get the opportunity to race and you'll be ranked 37th in that particular match.

I'm really low A and I was ranked 41st when I tried to join :lol:

BTW: Cut off is ca. 25% Progess in S at this time!

PS: Here is the Suzuka Race (Europe) from my perspective, if you are interested :) The Drivers field is VERY strong :))

DR isn't the only factor, I'm pretty sure it also takes into account SR as some drivers don't get in even though they have a higher DR than those that do.

Normaly true but.... in Top 24 Superstar Race you have to be AT LEAST S in SR :cheers::D

So only S/S in the Lobbys. And you even stand no Chance if you are a low "S" ^^

Nation Cup seems to be the strongest in Session 12! Cut off Player (mclaren6) had a DR of 63 k (!), so half through S!!

@Spurgy 777 Would be nice to race against you there, too :)

They were S rank SR but not max SR, I think it was @Rick23 GT, he was at around 70k DR and about 85 SR but he didn’t get in ahead of people with low 60k DR.
 
Wait, I don’t understand. Last week I finished 66th in the overall ranking. I assumed the "top 24" were the drivers from 1 through 24.

Is this not the case?
 
Yeah, this holds true for normal daily races, too :)

One day i had 89 SR, this matched me in some "strange" Lobbys, with mostly DR: D / SR: S (startnumbers in front of us) and DR: A/S and SR:S (all no "perfect" SR´s)

So the System bunched SR 99-90 in Top-Lobbys and 89-80 (?) "behind" them, as it seems.

For Top Lobbys (dailys and FIA´s) it seems even "S" SR is not enough, it had to be 90 or above ^^

But it cant be just for the "Top 24", because a lot of the Top 24 are qualified but dont race the Final. In this case the Lobby will only be filled with 16-18 Players?

In the end it doesnt matter much - highest rated Players = highest Points = highest placings = Top 24 Race

Seems odd. Then why race the season or rank people?

I hope this gets changed because it should be something players can try to earn.

I also think there should be a race with the top drivers from each manufacturer.
 
You cannot simply pick Top 24 in the ranking, because, for example, you Need 3 races out of 6. One has 3 Rating, i have 2, so all with 3 have more Points than me... but this is not fair, because the last race is not yet driven! I can even overtake them, but dont get the Chance, because im most likely not in Top 24 with just 2 out of 3 races ^^

Anyway, it makes nearly no diference, when you see, who is eligable in the Top 24 Superstar Races and who dominates the Leaderboards ^^

The Game wants you to "rank up the ladder" though daily races/FIA races, till you get the Chance for a Top Position - seems fair to me :) - Only Problem is someone, who refuses to race (or has no time) but would be able to be very fast... thats a pity

BTW: Your idea sounds VERY good :) Why not the best out per Country or Manufacturer?! That would be really cool. In the end we have a ranking by Country and Manufacturer than :)

Letz see what will Change for the future :)
 
You can join the top 24 without doing any of the races that week, I’ve seen people join with 0 points. I think it’s based on the top 24 who ENTERED the race, that little green check mark that gives you the warning saying you may not join if you don’t qualify. So it’s not top 24 on the leaderboards, it’s DR who entered which sometimes allows high As in, just depends who signed up that day.
 
I can confirm that it is only based on DR (of course you have to be SR S). A few weeks ago I didn't make it into top24 although I was 19th or so in the leaderboard before the last race. I think this system is stupid and unfair, why wasting all my time all week long for this stupid game and in the end I'm not able to compete in top24 while someone who didn't play all week is able to join? While I didn't try the week afterwards the week after the next week I was able to join as a low S driver but then server problems occurred and a lot of the players got kicked with 0 points. In the end I haven't raced top24 for quite a while :cheers:
 
I am gonna have to try this out sometime. If only my game would stop crashing or disconnecting and taking my DR. Probably could have been easy 70K+ already without these issues. Currently around 62K but sounds like i could already have a chance of making it.

How can I see DR in numbers?
 
It would be really cool if us lower tier drivers could join some sort of server so that we could spectate these bigger races. Would really make them seem like a bigger deal, something to work towards.
