I've not even attempted it yet mate ... will be having a few laps tonight for sure 👍

I haven't even been out and bought the car yet... yet another one I've never driven before!

By the way, what happening with the results from the last round?

As there is Spec II & Spec III times submitted, Tosk is evaluating differences between both specs...

I thought there was but in fact seems to be the same... let's wait & see :sly:

Yes, I saw his message, just wondered if there was an ETA on the outcome.

"ETA" ? Sorry I'm french :)

"Estimated Time of Arrival." A common abbreviation that means "When it's coming," frequently used in a question.

"What's the ETA on your shipment?"

Thanks I have learned my english abbreviation of the day (In fact I knew it in aviation language but didn't made it there ) :sly:

Concerning this race... quite difficult as the AI cars have more power than this Heavy under powered Alfa. Lap 2 is a nightmare :nervous: trying to avoid them all the way and difficult to pass...

Not a clean race yet

Best 53.8 + 44.6 +42.6 will let you know when all clean 👍

PS : If you meet an Integra in 5th and a Golf in 4th... directly reset the lineup as the integra is a nightmare blocked by the slower golf... :ill:

Edit :

First impression... this one is a Devil one

After 2 hours on it, very difficult to find a good line up. So Have to take risky options for overtaking each car and adopt a very agressive way. :steer

I "think" I have 2 good ones in the box but it's very close (they are fast & close)

here are my t2's :

Lap1 - 52,9
Lap2 - 42,6
Lap3 - 42,7 ( was a little stressed )

I can see best 1 : 52.5 - Best 2 : 42.5 - Best 3 : 42.3

Just had an hour on this and it's very tough as Wayne says :scared: I have a clean and very hesitant save in the bank with the first line up I used with 53.1 / 42.7 / 43.5 and only finished 3rd overall

I am onto a different line up now where I am in 1st place just before T2 on lap 2 but staying clean getting past the mini in 1st place is very difficult :scared: Will keep on racing against this line up for now until I get a clean save with it ... seen 52.7's and 42.1's but want them all together before I'll be happy 👍

Good luck to all in this final round as it's as tough as old boots but still a very cool combo

hello all, had a stab at this one for a few hours, its actually very fun once you get a good AI lineup happening;), i think mine was good as i had minimal problems overtaking:

citreon c4
lancer delta
volkswagen golf
mazda Atenza
alfa romeo

passed 1st place at the first corner of lap 2

T2's on laps 2 and 3 (missed lap 1)

41.607
41.370

time submitted (btw steering settings were simulation with force feedback 4)

Stotty - The outcome of round 4, I should be able to post it tomorrow.

Mr P - I think you have it mate, looking for the right line up for this race is more important than ever, hope I find it.

holl01 - Welcome mate. 41.3! Are you kidding, man I have some work to do. ;)

thanx, yeah the last 2 laps i had 2 personal bests, and that was after 2 and a half hours driving, so i was pretty stoked about that:tup:

My main problem on this is when I finally pass all cars but 1 cleanly on lap 1 I'm so happy that I almost Pee on my pants for lasts laps :sly:

My 3rd lap alone on track was slower than the 2nd for this reason :scared:

Hoping to get back on this tonight after the darts semi finals 👍 Dans splits are way out of my league going by my first session ... hopefully I can close the gap to Wayne, need a good line up that's for sure and I can see it will be an hour of exits before I find something worth working on .. hours of fun! :sly:

Hmmm, am I the only one finding this a teensy bit frustrating? Just had an hour at it and not one clean run. London is my least favorite track, the car is an overweight understeering snail, but most of all the AI just drives as if you don't exist.. STOP PUNTING ME YOU FECKERS!

Best T2's 42.1... 41's are a piss take, right?

peekay - This one is a tough one mate, I still have not got a lean run.

Stotty - Frustrating you say? What do you mean? lol I know what you mean!! Grrr

4 days:11 hours:45 minutes till DEADLINE

A couple of hours of super intense racing in the Ferarri event tonight (the gtrp crew are just top competition ) has eradicated the frustration... got to wash the cars tomorrow am, then my afternoon is clear to set a time on this event (or break the plasma\ps3\g25 trying!).

PLEASE NOTE
As you maybe aware I had to declare Race 4 a non-championship round & as a result I will add a 6th race to the championship. I will post Race 6 at the end of race 5.

4 days:9 hours:50 minutes till DEADLINE

Managed to fnally get a clean run in after another couple of hours yesterday afternoon and that's me done for this one... the time is rubbish, but this round's just not my cup of tea :)

I still only have my early clean save in the bank and nothing else as yet :( seems a few of us are pretty much in the same boat with this combo! gonna boot up the PS3 in a few mins and see if I can find a miracle line up that pull over to the side wall and let me take the lead 20 secs into lap 1  other than a miracle line up .. I wont be putting too much into it, good luck to all 👍

Tried very hard to get a clean run the other night but failed pretty badly. The Alfa is alright and the track isn't hard to get to grips with but the AI is very difficult to pass cleanly, they seem to take oddball lines... or perhaps it's just me taking the oddball lines :D

Had a tiny improvement but nothing to really write home about :ouch: 42.7 / 42.4 .. the best thing I have with this replay is there are no close calls anywhere! ... so ... time and replay emailed to Tosk as I can't take any more of this one  Good luck to all

Here's hoping round 6 is just a tad less frustrating ;)
Cheers
Ron.

Got home last night and thought I'd get my time ready for submission... re-ran the replay to write the times down and noticed a suspiciously close call on lap 1. Now I know I didn't feel or hear anything when I ran the lap, but it looked too close to call to submit.... AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!

Another 2 hours later I finally got a clean run in... just hoping a decent finish comes from no one else managing to run clean as the time is garbage.

There were times on this one where I turned in to an ace punter - the AI just wound me up so badly that I found myself deliberately ramming them just to 'get my own back', not that they noticed of course, but it made me feel better temporarily :D And the Alfa has been sold... if I never drive that car again it will be too soon!

Stotty - You and me both, ran for just over 2 hours last night with no luck of a clean run, so I ended up following the car in front to bank a clan time. Will give it another go tonight, but I am not holding my breath for a better run.

Race ends in 1:day 0:hours 10:minutes!
