TOUGE & REGULATIONS

Touge (pronounced as tōge) is a Japanese word that translates as 'mountain pass'. You've probably heard this word from drifting, where they race up and down winding mountain roads in Japan. The idea here is to have 2 cars go head-to-head and be the quickest on a particular stretch of road. But rather than racing to cross the finish line, the lead and chase car must try to increase or decrease the gap between them in order to win. And in place of a mountain pass, Touge Battle will be using part of the Clark International Speedway (CIS) instead.

Touge (峠, tōge?) is a Japanese word literally meaning "pass." It refers to a mountain pass or any of the narrow, winding roads that can be found in and around the mountains of Japan and other geographically similar areas.

Touge is often thought of as drift racing which it is NOT. Drifting is a driving style which some people use in touge races but not many.

Battle Rules
At least 2 Judges needed (1 at the end of the course that watches distance and marks the end of course, and 1 judge in spectator to announce battle start, watch for illegal contact, and passes)
50 MPH roll in start (S, A, and B classes)
35 MPH roll in start (C & D classes)
Judge announces battle start at pre-determind location allowing racers to go full-throttle
Best out of 3 format, lead car changes after each run and after the run both racers go back to starting location
Minor contact is not an issue, if the spectating judge feels contact was an issue tho the round will be restarted, if it happens again round goes to the other driver.
Racing line is off, TCS is off, SKID FORCE is off, all other assists are at driver discression
Judges can enter battles but cannot judge his own run.

Build Rules
On top of the build restrictions above engine swaps are only permited if they are from a car that is mentioned in the premitted cars list (if the swap does not state what the new engine is from its permited IF it is a lower end engine then an non-premitted engine)
Aside from D, C class cars a car IS NOT allowed to be built to the same class it is when stock (please see premitted cars list to what what each car can be built too)

To Win

LEAD CAR
If the leader crosses the end of course with 60 or MORE meters between each other round goes to leader
If the following car bumps/crash into the leader twice in 2 runs round goes to leader

FOLLOW CAR
If the leader crosses the finish line with 20 or LESS meters between each other round goes to following car
If the following car passes the leader & leader cannot regain position round goes to following car (contact rules apply to lead car is he gets passed if round restart is needed due to lead car making contact he will follow on restart)

DRAW
If the leader and follower are within 21-59 meters of each other when the leader crosses the finish line round ends in a draw.

I didn't get the notification when you tagged me, weird :/ When can we run yo? So far I only have an S15/EG6/NSX Nurburgring runners.

Might sign up for S-Class with the Impreza. Car can lap 55.7 on Tsukuba Circuit on Sports Soft w/o NOS and can mark 53.4 (beating the HKS CT230R machine) with it (NOS). Obviously I'm not going to use NOS. The car though has been tuned for a weaker rigidity type of tire compound.
