They go for about £150,000 - £200,000 so you would really really have to want one !!!!

I think 200k would be a bargain. They come up for sale so rarely and seem to go for about 500k USD. James Bond's was an open-top version of course, of which only two were made specially for the film. Those must be priceless.
It's one of my favourite cars in the game and IMO one of the most beautiful cars ever.

It's a great car considering where it came from, and at the time it appeared.

I wonder if PD'll make us the roofless version from You Only Live Twice at the same time they Premiumify the coupe.

Good car on its own merit, but absolutely terrible by comparison.

It didn't use any new technologies. It cost way more than its competitors for luxury, style, and performance, and it was way under-performing for the cars it did cost similar to. They made only a few of them, and it was by no means innovative. It was an experiment, not a "super car", and an expensive one at that.

There is a reason it was forgotten, just so you all know. I find this to be one of the most overrated vehicles in history. Would I drive and own one over most cars? Hell yes. Is it worth seeking out and buying compared to other rare cars? Hell no.

Looking at the GT86 and the LFA, I'd say Toyota learned a lot from it. Its value, given it was an experiment, was not in how it compared to its contemporaries, but how it would contribute in shaping the future (ambitions) of the Japanese car industry, and solidify the engineering and design approach at Toyota, especially in that it was a collaboration with Yamaha.

odd side note about the 2000GT convertible ...is that its the yellow car driven by Sailor Uranus and Neptune in Sailor Moon in the original anime.
Tuxedo Mask drove an Alfa 155 .
