I will have my feedback of car feeling and handling later today; I wont have times just because the track I used was not the right one (i just love the 86 so felt the need to test). I did not do full break in of the cars since it was just for driving feel on the car. Look for it today.

Very close results , my car did the best time with Goldyakin and Newdriver, it could help for the final rank :). Thanks to all the testers , great job, some others shootout at the same time give a lot of work to them. Perhaps too much.
I think we have to stick to a schedule like the one F.I.T publish.
Personally i will only follow this rule in the future , at least when there is several shootouts at the same time.

It was a pleasure for me, thanks everybody.

Only 2 testers gave complete results. There is nothing I can do about this.

The problem was the Scions. It seems it was too much touble to break them in for testing.

There were other shootouts going but there are thousands of people on this forum. It doesn't have to be the same 10 guys doing every shootout.

I picked a very short track so that testing would be as easy as possible. This shouldn't have taken too much time. But the fact that the Scion can't be shared is what killed the testing.

I thank all the tuners for participating and I especially thank the testers who went to the trouble of breaking in the Scions.

I'm so close to us army

Ok so here are my write ups for the tunes, i know they mean nothing but i love the 86 >< with the ft86, gt86, and frs i have about 40 of them, no where near roj but still a bit lol. There was not one bad car in the bunch just some where better then others for my driving preference.

I tested these cars as they were build, not run in though, i dont have the kind of time and i was not testing for time but for driving feel so a few hp was not going to make a huge difference. All cars were tested on trial mount. and they are as follow in order of being tested, some write ups are a bit longer then others.

Krenk- very stable and flat with a bit of exit under steer nothing horrible just don’t push it to hard and it will go away, I would call this the grip tune of the bunch

Roj- seems to be the golden retriver of the pack, easy to get sideways and loves to please you if you ask it to, fastest for me but I think it’s because roj and I have the same driving style.

USARMYCOMBATVET – Very nice car, easy to drive, hint of power over-steer in 2nd. 3rd+ gear is under steer if pushed.

NEWDRIVER2 –mild entry and mid corner under steer I feel 5th should be longer not much longer but a bit shifting at about 105 or so mph seems to low, and 6th is too long.

lldantell –great little car, bit of exit under steer but other than that it feels nice, just a hint of sliding when you give it the beans out of a corner. The power delivery seems almost perfect in this car.

robrabbitman – The only thing I can say about Rob’s car is its very similar feeling to Krenk’s (very flat and neutral) just substitute mild under steer for mild over steer I think this was one of my favorite cars.

XDesperado67 – the car that started it all, it takes a light food to keep this car from breaking the back end loose but even if you do it’s great fun. I highly recommend short shifting for corners to minimize getting sideways coming out of a turn. Great little car lots of fun for both grip driving and just hooning about.

praiano63 – it’s a praiano tune, meaning very user friendly just plant your foot down and go just make sure you break when you’re suppose to and this car will do you just fine. If you want to get around the tight bits in the car a bit eaiser I found if you trail break and mash the gas it gas it gives you a nice rotation to get you pointed straight quickly.

HaylRayzor – Probably the best looking car Toyota has come out with (to bad it’s a concept  ) since the mk4 supra or the w20 mr2 in my opinion, simple but still beautiful to look at. It’s a great little car, I think moving the weight back to the rear wheels was a smart choice with this car, because in stock form this car can be a handful. It drives nicely I would recommend short shifting for 2nd gear to 3rd, little bit of entry understeer (nothing to bad just its there and it might because you are going so fast) and don’t smash the gas coming out of corner and this car will serve you well.

There you go great job tuners and thanks for giving me an excuess to buy more 86's. If i had to choose a driver pick i would say robrabbitman's car, it was probablly my fave. out of all the cars. so easy to drive fast with just a hint of oversteer to let you know the heritage of the frs

ps. All tuners who didnt put a spoiler on the car get +2 internet brownie points for keeping the car looking good... god that toyota spoiler looks bad.

Here is a graph of the results. It's interesting how the results are reversed for usarmy.

Excellent graph. I never noticed the disparity in the times. Talk about a difference in driving styles.

Hey just wanted to say if no one else is currently interested in running my classic "Sunshine Express" I'm going to remove it from share and adjust the car for the Nürburgring Nordschleife PP boards that CSLACR has going.:odd:

By the way great job by the tuners and test drivers here.👍👍

I already adjusted the FT86 for the nordschleife. I don't imagine there will be any more testers for this challenge.
