Toyota Camry (XV50) Sleeper Camry by Toyota Motorsports (SEMA) 2014

It's a lovely, standard 2014 Camry.

Toyota Motorsports Technical Center took the shell of a Camry, and then decided it needed a giant tube-frame chassis. Then they found a Tundra 5.7 liter V8, and took the rear axle, transmission and electronics too.

At that point, it had a measly 381 horsepower, which is clearly not enough for a Camry, so they added a supercharger and wet nitrous system.

Overall, it pushes out around 850bhp, which is more than adequate for anyone.

I saw that on www.Conceptcarz.com and dang it looks nice.
 
What a repmobile. Suddenly I have a hankering for a Camry. And I'm not even middle-aged yet. 👍

I don't subscribe to the 2.2 Camry thing. I don't think that's relevant.
