Toyota Celica Supra (A60) IMSA GTU Kent Racing #29 John Stevens 1984

The Toyota Celica Supra GTU is a GT racing car built by Toyota for use in the IMSA GT Championship starting in 1983. The car had a 2.8 I6 and weighed 2200lbs (997KG). For the 1984 race at Lime Rock the car completed 37 out of 39 laps and, after starting in 13th, finished in 10th position. Not much is known about the Celica Supra as there is no information about it in any major Toyota publications. As far as I can tell, the Celica Supra only raced in the Coca Cola 500 @ Lime Rock Park in 1984.
