Toyota GT-One Setting Please (Not Top Speed)

Hey Guys, I've looked on the other GT-One threads, but I can't find any settings for a good race car, especally around the Ring, has anybody got a steady setting for this car, top speed does not matter as long as it can compete with it's like.

Figures please for each part of the tune, no general settings, I know how to set the thing up goodish, but at speed I find the car too skittish, and undriveable.

I'd mostly like some help on Bound/Re-Bound Chamber and Toe.

After I've done the last championship in the Pro League I'll post my settings as I'm using this whole championship as a big test session on the car. So I should have at least good settings afterwards.

Thanx in advance for any help.

I ain't got no problems with it in but my B-spec. driver does.On the straights he can't get past 325 km/h at La Sarthe while I can do around 360km/h.When the B-spec. driver's driving the car it shakes so much

Cheers,

Sorry can't help, I haven't done much B-Spec driving in this version of the game yet, but from what I've read, it's either your car, or you just need to train the driver more, a low point B-Spec driver will do silly things like slow down when the car starts to shake, or slam into the back of other drivers!

I'm onto the 4th or 5th race of the championship now, and am getting quit a good setting, but I'm only going for a general setting that is good for all the tracks with normal turbo and hard to hard+ tyres.

Well I've just finished the championship and tried the car again at the Ring, and it's much better, but still not perfect!

My settings after the champioship and a little tweeking at the Ring are;

Tyres - F/Soft - R/Soft
Breaks - F/4 - R/3
Spring - F/6.0 - R/8.0
Ride Hight - F/70mm - R/80mm
Damper Bound - F/8 - R/8
Damper Re-Bound - F/7 - R/7
Toe - F/1 - R/-1
Stabilisers - F/5 - R/7

Transmission - Auto 14 - 15

All Driver Aids OFF

The settings are good for all races in the championship apart from Hong Kong and Paris, too slow out of the corners, but I was using different tyres for the races with tyre wear.

Any suggestions on what I should change to make it better all-round, not just to make it faster.

Well I completed GT World Championship and GT All stars with a GT-one STOCK.Did no channges at all, was just perfect 👍

About my B-spec., he doesn't slow down on straights, he 's giving full throttle and he only can get to 325km/h  =>not normal 👎

Cheers,

The only thing I can think of then is that the B-Spec driver just isn't getting onto the long straights fast enough, if you can get onto it at 140 MPH and he/she can only get onto it at 90 MPH the end of the straight is going to be way different, so try watching the corner before the long bits.

No it's not that either, he enters it on 5: push hard.He drive in it perfectly but I'm telling you it's the goddamn shaking wich is keeping him from getting good fast laps. There goes my plan to drive the 24h Le Mans with a stock gt-one :scared:

Actually, it is "normal" for B-Spec in GT4. Call it a "bug" or "anomaly" or "GT4 weirdness", but all cars have less top speed in B-Spec than A-Spec.

A Le Mans car that will hit 245 MPH on Sarth in A-Spec will top out at around 225 or so in B-Spec.

They all do it. Try some different cars and see.

Could it be the shift point of the gears?

I never shift on the red line, I always wait 'till just before the needle hits the rev limiter!

BUT.

The B-Spec driver will always shift at the same place as the Automatic on A-Spec, just on hitting the red line, way to early for most cars?

Is that the prob?

Good question. In B-Spec, we don't get a view of the tachometer.

I dunno, if I hear to the sound when it shifts, it's about the same rev's he shifts as me.

PD made some cars very strange :odd:

I just finished the 24 Hours on LeSarthe II via B-Spec, and ol' Bob just tucked it away! My GT-One was completely stock, using super-hard tires, and set to 3 (steady) and to overtake...general pit stop strategy was about every 12 laps for fuel and a new set of rubber. He finished the race 2:56.980 above the Minolta.

Now, I can enjoy my Bentley anywhere, anytime. And to me, that sucker is THE most stable prototype in the GT4 world...bar the Pescarolo...it's just insane fast.
