Yeah, thats one of my favorite rides, in the game and in real life.
Now I didnt know that they could be had with a v8, man would it rock if it did.
BMW is hard to beat with their M series cars.  It would be a good race between the two if they ever did.

Well the E46 M3 GTR are not running S54 3.2liter Sixes(480 SAE HP).  They're running 4 liter V8 pushing over (500 SAE HP).  BMW doesn't make V8 powered M3s yet.  I've heard BMW in going to make about 150 to 200  Street Legal M3GTR to keep it legal for the GT Class rulebooks.

BMW makes the M3, M5 and I know of the v8 powered car, the m8??? All I know that it is a tight ride, any of the M series BMW's.
Lexus IS 300/Altezza's are one of the nicest Japanese cars there is.  Performance potential out the ying yang.
I believe Jordan even drives, or wants the IS300.
Later.

BMW M made a M8 Prototype 5 to 6 liter V12 with around 500 to 600 Din/HP about 1000 pounds lighter than the 850CSI,  But at the time the BMW Execs frowned it down.  It had 200 + Mph topspeed.  In 1983 BMW M developed the 1.4 liter turbo 4 banger pushin 1300+ Din/hp.

The next generation M3 MAY have a V8.  but they may introduce the ebgine in a limited production run of V8 M3's in the e46 chassis.  They shouldnt have to do too much, because Hartage has crammed the M5's 4.9 into the 3-series.

I would like to see BMW get into WRC useing a 3 series compact running the 4wd running gear and the S54 powerplant, or build a X5 or X3 for WRC.  Yes BMW is going to build the X3 due 2004!
