well, i was browsing through the TV channels and saw some show on hybrids, and then i saw the Prius so low and behold i went and bought the thing on GT2.
Well it turns out you can't but anything for it except tires, and it only has one gear.

So what do you think of the toyota prius?

yeah, the prius really blows, i couldn't believe it had one gear, it is almost as bad as that three wheeled meter maid cart that you can buy on the game.

The Prius has a Continuously Variable Transmission. So, the CVT constantly adjusts the ratio so that you stay in the fat of the powerband. That's how a seriously underpowered car can top 100 MPH...

It's not much use in a race, but it's still fun to drive. It's a real challenge to drive smoothly enough to get a decent lap time.

Test course saturday 2 o´clock PM swetty hands grabbing the pad trying to control the car, exiting last corner accelarating hard and bam 116mph with the prius

I think the prius was the one car that I never noticed in GT2... it was better that way; alright GREAT idea behind the car but this is a game no need for ecology here. Maybe programmers should take up the space of the prius and use for some kind of politicaly correct database - that way we could discover the car without having to discover the shock of driving it

Yeah...The Dahitsu Midget II. It is probably one of the worst cars in GT 2. Ugly as hell, and slow too. I saw some doofus on another threat calling it a "toyota" midget...

the thing is slower than my yard mower (not really) but the thing barely moves handles like a dream tho
