Question: Why I want this car to appear in GT?
Answer: Because although that we have the 2001 season cars, the Esso Ultraflo Supra is not present on GT6. Moreover, this car made an appearance only on GT Concept 2002 and GT4. And also, I would like to drive this car in future GT's.

Specs:
Engine: 2.0 Turbocharged
Power: 471 PS (463 HP)
Torque: 649 NM (479 lb-ft)
Drivetrain: FR (Front Rear Wheel Drive)
Gearbox Transmission: 6-Speed Sequential Gearbox
Weight: 1100 kg (2425 lbs)

How was the season for this car?
In 2001, the Esso Le Mans changed its livery to white and blue. The #6 was driven by Hideki Noda and Juichi Wakisaka, who competed for Takata Dome NSX in previous year.
In first round, they crashed into the race, but they won the following round. In 3rd round, they finished 5th, while the following round, they finished 3rd. Unfortunately, they lost the title by just 18 points with a retirement in 6th round, 13th in 5th round and 14th in final round. As a result, they finished 7th in overall standings.

In the following year of 2002, Wakisaka had an 2nd different co-driver, Akira Iida, who was in Raybrig NSX in previous year. Although that Mobil 1 NSX has obtained 3 victories, its main rival did not manage to take the title because Mobil 1 NSX didn't just had an retirement, but also had 3 outside top 10 finishes: 11th in Fuji; 12th in Special Cup of Fuji and 14th in Motegi. Therefore, Supra has become the champion of GT500 category thanks to a victory in Sugo and its 7 top 10.

I understand that you want it so bad, but I prefer 2002 one, the GT500 champion. Moreover, there are NO 2002 JGTC cars in GT.

Yes, there aren't 2002 JGTC cars in GT2, but in 2002, they used the same livery.

Is the 2001 version the same car as 2002?

2002 ver. has improved aerodynamics. I put 2001 and 2002 ver. below. We can see the difference in the rear section and spoiler.

2001 au Cerumo Supra, GT500 class champion.

2002 Exxon Esso Ultraflo Supra, GT500 class champion (the first one is maybe Fuji ver. (low drag package), the second one is Suzuka ver.).
