Track Day Sessions

Regulations:

Non race car
Open make, single make/model and VS style races.
Drivers can change cars (within the regs) at anytime, as many times as they wish throughout sessions.

Tyres: Sports (compound may vary each round)
Track edge/wet: Real
Slipstream: Weak
Tyre/Fuel: On
Damage: Light
Penalties: Off (all races) Keep 2 wheels on track at all times. Move off race line if slower.
False Start Check: Off (all races)
Grid Spaces: 12


The sessions will run on Saturday or Sundays with varying times for each round.

I really hope to see a good turn out for these sessions.

This weekend's Track day session at the Nurburgring has been moved from Sunday back to: Saturday the 11th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm AEDT

All welcome! a 1 hr session of free running and random spot races.

Just letting everyone know, you can change cars at anytime during the 60 min session as many times as you want!

Well, today's session was awesome, NOT! lol Just myself and Monkeyman who raced in the Le Sarthe Enduro.
We had a couple good races though, was close. Good driving by Monkeyman.
I was having trouble getting round some of the tighter curves then the back flying out lol but managed to tone that down a bit over the hour session, was fun.

The session will be on again tomorrow from 4:45pm AEDT
It may be just a 30 min session but probably 60mins.

It will be great racing if we can get a few there tomorrow.

Well the session ran again this afternoon. There was 5 of us and we ran 4 good fun 3 laps races.

I really enjoyed it guys, thanks to those that showed up!

Crz is a nice car to take round there, although I had civic ep4 begging to run.

Yea, I have a load of Honda's that I want to run, oh well next time.

The CR-Z a '10 was so much fun! As moon said at the end, we should use that in the next series races (except for the fact that when it is not tuned it would be a piece of ****). Was so quick & nimble tuned up though, and look so much better than the Prius!

Who would have thought a hybrid could pull a 2:25 on Suzuka

Well, this last session was the first time driving the CR-Z, only bought it today (been thinking about getting one for ages).
Great fun and sounds great with the racing muffler. We should race them again with turbo fitted!!

The few races today were great fun. I do apologise for jumping back onto the racing line a bit quick after braking a bit late going into
the chicane on the last lap, I came out right in front of you Moon, sorry.

So onto the next!

Just to pre-empt dealership woes next week, any ideas on the beemers that will be running? Would love to see an M3 special, essentially all iterations of the M3 old and new (although a lightly tuned M COUPE is fun around this track, cue the drift music).

Same here bud a pair of M3's for the beemer party, around the 500pp mark.

Even a 400pp 120d 👍

Shame you didn't join session 2, was good fun! only 3 of us though.
We had a couple of races in the M Coupes ( I was in the '98 model)
then we had 2 of us the '73 Turbo and ADR Bronco in the old skool Camaro cos he didn't have the '73 beemr. We ran ABS off for those 2 races and was close.

Tomorrow's session will be, 4:30pm - 6:00pm AEDT

Bring your '73 Turbos!!
