Traction control ( TCS )

is TCS really working in GT2??, i put TCS to 50 and the cars spin like TCS to 0, 50 or 0 that make no difference, do i need to do something else to make TCS working?, or the TCS just dont work like GT3 or GT4?

Compared to GT3/GT4/GT5:P, TCS in GT2 is very very mild. Though I don't see any reason why would you need it anywhere in a racing sim :)

Maybe it's your tire choice. Also, GT2's physics are oriented more toward slipping and sliding. TCS works in GT3 and 4...

Either way, TCS is the work of Satan and should no car should be cursed with it.

Not only is it mild, but GT2 is the only game in which you have to BUY traction & stability controls. I never found a car in GT2 in which these devices made a significant difference to handling & maneuverability, which makes the fact that you have to PAY lots of money for them a joke. :grumpy:

I read somewhere that they make a difference if you buy a super-fast, hard-to-control car like the Speed 12, but I never personally experimented with this. The only thing I ever noticed was when I took a '96 Corvette to the Route 5 endurance race. I drove a few laps with TCS off, and then re-started the race with TCS ON. I noticed that with TCS on, the rear tires were slightly less prone to extreme spinning (and less smoke, too), which gave me an extra lap before I needed a pitstop for new tires.
