Trade...wats The Point?

OK IVE BEEN WONDERIN why does PD put in trading? i mean whats the point. i have cars others dont and woulda liked cars others have too, but howsit work
do i trade cars, like the name seggests...does the cars have to be of equal value? or do u have to buy it from the other memory card i need help plz. are the cars stock, supped up, many miles, what?

when you want to trade, you have to put in the memcard from your friend. You can then buy a car from him. This car is identical to his. The price depends on the original price of the car and the tuned parts installed.

In other words, you buy a personnally tuned car from your friends shop. (he also keeps the car after you buy it.)

Except the tuning parts and all settings are lost when the transaction is made, taking the car back to stock settings.

Im annoyed at the trading too. Theres no benefit or very small benefit when trading between 2 memory cards
I use it sometimes when i want to save some money, i buy an expensive car on my second memory card and then trade it to my first. You save about 1/4 off the original price. Its not worth it if your buying a cheap car.

Is this a Race Report? Not really. Could you help me, other members, the moderators, and yourself by moving it to the main GT4 forum?

To answer your question, you pretty much buy cars from the 2nd memory card. One advantage to this is that you can buy cars that the other player tuned and made settings for, and then it's a better car than before. IMO, I think it's a dumb feature, but then again, it might really help other players.
