Hi folks...

can someone explain how to trade cars in GT3....can you trade a single car from one garage to another garage located in memory slot 2?

i tried it but all that happens was i bought my own car for 3,000,000 (3 million!)...all i get was an option to buy the car!!..
i want to trade my formula one car for a car on another memory card...they get the F1 car and i get their car..

cheers

actualy it doesnt work like that.... the trade option is for u to buy a car of a nother memory cards save file ( or use ur money to but ur own car of your own save file )

it doesnt actually mean trade cars...

let me guess ur a total noob to gt3 and got it yesterday lol

You have to have enough cash in your bank to buy the car.
IF you don't the prompt "you don't have enough Cr to trade" of some such will appear.
Also if you are buying remember that the sell figure is multiplied by a figure of four. So if the Sell value is 250,000, the actual cost in the "trade" option will be 1,000,000.
The upside is, that if the car has been modified, you get all the mods, no extra charge.:D

Two memory cards in your consoles ports, then load the garage of the car you wish to add to your other garage, click buy the save

Thanks folks, its a very misleading term 'trade'

why dont they just say buy?...i thought you could actually trade cars...

as a matter of fact i have had the game for a couple of years now and i am close to completing all the tracks...i just have a few in pro level and about 5 in the endurance levels to do...i just never bothered with the trade function till my friend bought the game recently and wanted an F1...
