Why did they on number 4 decide you can't trade your car with your own settings or upgrades. Number 3 you can, or is ther something I'm missing? please respond.

You'd have to ask PD that.

Probably because that was one of the few ways to cheat the game, in GT3 if you had two memory cards, you could copy your save file then use one to buy a car with all the best parts, and then on the other card, you could use the trade option to buy a fully modded car for a fraction of what it would really cost.
