Transmission top Speed

How are you all tuning the transmissions to lets say 237 mph. I can only seem to go by clicks of 10 mph.

each car can reach different speeds. Not all cars end on increments of 5 , i.e. 205,210,215,220.

Most cars will be in the random number zone like 213 or 221 or stuff like that.

They are all different

I realize that but when you tune the transmission All I can do it set it to increments of 10, and that has been for a wide variety of cars. Do tuners mean to say I should take it out on La Sarthe for example?

Hmm, that's odd. I have plenty of cars that when I get to tweaking the top end speed it will increase in all sorts of increments. I've never had it just go with 10 that I can remember. But ya you can't go and increase it by 1 mph. You have to increase however the car is set. If it allows you to do it in 8mph jumps then you have to do it like that.

hmmmm. Well All of mine are in increments of 10. Could it be because I am on v 1.0?

I use the metric system and the increments are 10 km/h on every car I tweaked (more than 10 I think) So I presume when you use Mp/h you get different increments.

the game is almost entirely poorly thought out, get ready for some awesome stuff ahead of you.... ur transmission increments will be the least of your worries

I am well aware of the other faults of the game. I Guess my units are in kph.... But I have units set to miles so not sure what that is about. I guess I will have to keep a calculator handy. Lame! Thanks for all the help guys, the reason I didn't notice sooner was that it was kinda small print from where I sit.
