tricks ....

Hey, I've heard a few tricks on GT3 and have a few questions, could any of you answer ?

1) That trick where you use 2 memory cars to max a car out the buy it for its base price. I dunno which car to choose. The Zonda S or the Jaguar XJ220. The XJ is much more expensive, but which is better value for money when both maxed out and used in the trick ?

2) That trick where you save at the end of the races and of your ahead by enough can quit and restart a race to get a car and prize money, if not the right car, save and reload and do the trick again. Well, I've heard people say that you have to save at the race and cannot quit the race screen. Will the trick work if I save from my garage ?

3) The same trick as above, Im running the beginner GT Cup, how many races is it possible to skip and still do that car trick if I got all other golds ?

Maybe you max it out on one card and buy it on another card? The price of parts shouldn't be included, right?

Yeah, that's if you are doing a series of multiple races. Just save before you do the last race. After you finish, if you don't like the prize, just restart the game and do the last race over (from your previous save).

3) The same trick as above, Im running the beginner GT Cup, how many races is it possible to skip and still do that car trick if I got all other golds ?

That depends. If you win 7 out of 10 races, you can possibly skip the 8th and 9th race safely because you'll be so far ahead in points. Then just do the last race and see what prize you get. But if you have won...let's say 3 races, and the Ai has won a couple, you shouldn't skip because each time you skip, I believe the Ai gains points while you don't. Which means the Ai could possibly win the series if you're not careful.

1) Yes, if you have two memory cards, when you buy a car from oone save into another, it comes with all the parts you've added, but you only get charged retail price for the car itself.

2) As long as you are far enough ahead on points to win the championship assuming the second-place AI wins all the rest, you can quit at any time and get the prize car. There's no need to run the actual race again and again - just reset the PS2, start the race, and quit immediately. Repeat as necessary to win the car you want. Which leads us to...

3) There's no way to influence the prize car you get. It's been scientifically proven that it is completely random.
