I was planning to pick up another series but I've not seen anything recently that has taken my fancy, so I thought I should try setting something up. I was reading about the Maserati after buying one yesterday, I noticed that the lip spoiler in GTauto is very similar to the new Trofeo series cars and that gave me the idea to recreate one. I think there’s some potential for a good single make series with these cars.

You can take a look at the regulations for this year's Trofeo GranTurismo MC here; I think it would be a good idea to interpret these closely where possible. If there is enough interest, I'll run this as a team competition with two drivers per team and the same point structure as the real series. Both a drivers and team title will be awarded, and of course prizes for those and for the runners up.

I've not yet decided what day and time the races will be held, it will most likely be a weekday mid-evening onwards (GMT). If you are interested, please let me know what time is best for you and I'll see what I can work out. The real series holds two races per round of 28, 38 or 48 minutes each depending on the circuit, I don't think I can guarantee that I'll have the time to do that, so perhaps a single race of around 30 minutes be acceptable?

The cars will be of set specification; lightened/ballasted to 1400kg, fitted with Racing exhaust and air filter, and limited to 488 bhp. LSD and suspension tuning will be free. What I might allow with the transmission is to be decided. I'll outline everything in more detail if and when I post a sign-ups thread.
