Troubles with PS3

I don't know why im having this problem and id like some help trying to fix it

at random my PS3 will freeze GT6, when i quit game my PS3 will beep 3 times and restart itself and go through telling me my PS3 had not been turned off right and then continues to go through a restore?

Normally it starts playing up after about an hour or two but ive just had the same problem after only having the PS3 turned on 35mins. Anyone know the reason why it could be doing this?

I'm sure everybody gets this now and then, even I have to deal with it at least once a week, sometimes after only a short while and other times it could be hours before it happens. It seems to be something PD cannot fix for the time being.

ive notest its only when im online i get the problem. spend most of the day with my son on GT6 in single racing and doing races in the licence levels and had no problems at all. soon as i tried online feature either seasonals or lobbys i had a problem not long after.
