i'm drifting the hell outta my AE86 with low mods...its quite easy

ASM and TCS at Zero of course

racing induction
racing flywheel
sport suspension (the cheapest)
computer upgrade
stage II weight reduction
2-way LSD (limited slip differential)

thats it, i think...

i was actually drifting it decently without any mods, but it would bog too much with stock power, and exiting turns one wheel would keep spinning and spinning --> thats why you get the LSD. You could make do with a 1.5 way, but i find the 2 way lets you drift into turns a little better. After reading that "guide to drifting" a second ago, i must say i use the 'feint' method most. Also, often, I will enter a turn, and let off the gas for a second, then punch it again. When you lift off the gas when turning, the rear wants to come out, so you punch it to keep it out. This actually holds true in real life, even with front wheel drive cars. When on an on or off ramp, going 35mph or so in my neon, and letting off the gas abruptly, the rear wants to come out.

so yeah....its pretty easy

knock ya'self out
