I'm going to try to beat this game with a little bit of a twist. I am going to keep all the prize cars I get unless they are duplicate,and buy all the remaining cars I don't have and try to get everycar fully modded(going to take forever). And after that I will try the same on GT4. What do you guys think, Will it work? plain crazy? Let me know.

That's pretty much what I'm doing on this run through GT3, because I didn't feel like doing the 24hr endurance races on GT4, and mission 32 is impossible. I don't think that It will take too long to accomplish the 100% completion and all cars in GT3, but if your planning on doing it in GT4 I hope you have some serious time to invest, because just getting all of the skylines and lancers is going to take you a long time. Anyways, good luck on your quest.

Sorry I was on the road when I wrote this up with my Palm. I edited it now so there shouldn't be any problems but the title. I was typing it all with the touchpad and for some reason my Palm has a grammar thing that fixes errors on my screen but not when it posts. I think I am just going to take it off so it does not happen again.
I have currently been playing GT3 2 days now and I am at 15.2 percent and have only bought the 2 cars Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX and the Miata mx-5 (first car I owned). I have sold 2 cars 1 vitz 1.5 same color as the one i bought and a Trueno. I have just started doing my rally races,I have about 1/8 of the races left to do on the beginner and have done the turbo 4wd and evolution meeting on amateur. I currently have 22,189 credits and own 15 cars. I will try to give an update every day around this time to show the progress I have had through each day. That you for reading my post

Very cool. Glad you're posting here. I think all the Beginner races are pretty easy (hence the name beginner) with cars that are stock or nearly so EXCEPT the Altezza Challenge and the World Championship. I'm not saying these races are easy, I'm saying to attempt them in a car that hasn't had parts added is a toughie.

I started a new thread a few days ago... "Any need for a comprehensive Hybrid Excel File" ... It's attached there, use the 'advanced search' and search for my started threads. I also started a new thread with my top hybrid, what parts I used. I have a 600,000HP Cobra that I can't keep on the Test Track. lol

I just think it's a common newbie mistake. So many newbs don't pay attention to the date/time stamps....at least GrumpEOne brought a new twist along (with his very cool excel stuff).

So did the file download alright??
FYI - Remember GT3 HP increases actually by % not just the increase number.
I am going to fix the file here soon, adding a column for each Upgarde containing the % increase; and I setup that other file for printing, the next thing will be meshing the upgrades into 1 easily sortable sheet.
ps 600 khp is very difficult to keep on the road, even on the Test track, but if you can you can pull 16-20 sec laps - without the wheelie!

Well, it is a thread that attracted responses recently. He could be absent because he is working on it. The fact that he is not a new member also adds a tinge of credibility to his purpose: most new members make a thread, post, and leave.

Hello everyone, sorry I have not been on in well.... forever. I have recently gotten in a car accident breaking both of my legs. I have been in physical therapy a lot trying to learn how to walk again.I would be very interested in getting this thread going again but, it seems there are not to many people on the gt3 part anymore. If anyone is still interested let me know.

That's horrible! I've been in 4 accidents (one of them really bad and it was my fault) but I've never been injured. Unfortunately this forum is still pretty slow, though. If you can get GT2, there's actually some challenges that are still active and stuff.
