TSR Super Tsukuba 300km

Hello and welcome to the TSR Super Tsukuba 300km event!

Broadcast by the brilliant HalfTheRaceGone (He's become ill, F's out in chat!)

This event will deliver the excitement and action we all want to see and be part of.
Using fully detuned older Gr.2 cars around such a small track it will make the somewhat small grid of 13 feel like a huge grid! The track will be busy!
This should cause almost constant action with back markers fighting for position, also being lapped by other cars within only a few laps I'm sure.

SignUp
We often run invite only for a bit to ensure the usual quality and core drivers. If we have space we then open it up.

Update: Signup is open!

Calendar
Running on a Thursday.
Qualifying at 8:45pm
Race soon after, target race start: 9pm
(UK time, BST)
Date: 5th September (not set in stone but this is the likley date)

Regulations!
These may evolve as we get closer to the event time.
This will be the first TSR use of the chat-based Safety Car System. If anyone gets engine damage and ends up limping round the track, type "SC" or "sc" into chat, the pack then need to cut pace and then sit behind the deployed safety car but as-per F1 this will cause the field to re-bunch. When the Safety Car pulls in, do a lap at half pace. It's then up to the leader of the pack to decide when to "Go". No overtaking before the line here, so the leader can use bunching and launching to gain some time.
  • Type SC when you get engine damage to deploy the safety car
  • Everyone cut pace
  • No overtaking ***
  • When safety car pulls in, the race will restart after a cut pace lap

*** lapped car overtaking rules under SC. As a lapped car you can overtake only to unlap yourself under SC. However do not impede the restart, this is in effect a blue flag scenario.

So I have already signed up "K1NGOFTORQUE" for Nukeshot Motorsport, driving the Atomic Injectables sponsored GT-R.

I am now signing up "Toshost" in the remaining GT-R slot. Will hopefully be able to work out the remaining details in the next few days.
