News Flash!!

The price of HKS products just reached a new obscenely high price.. More news at 5:00.

They did crush the record though. :)

I wonder if it'll be a one hit wonder like their Altezza? Now, what i want to know, is how much of the original EVO VIII is still in there? :P

I see the stock taillights.;) I know this isn't the "Multimedia" forum, but here are some pics from the TAS courtesy of Machv.com. Body is completely made of dry carbon fiber.

Full carbon body = Race car

Aftermarket aero parts = Street car

The Garage Evolution still hold's the record for fastest street/semi-race car.

0,46,93 F3000 Formula Nippon - Competicao Sim
0,53,56 ARTA NSX JGTC (GT500) - Competicao Sim
0,58,55 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI Puma Racing - Competicao Sim

F3000 still holds fastest record... Arta is second and the HKS Evo did 3rd amazing.

To see the list of fastest car but that list hasnt been updated since 10/06/2003 so im sure the Puma Racing Evo isnt the 3rd... didnt the Jun Evo run around 55s?

It looks like prepreg cf to me... That stuff is so strong and is more perfect than wet layups... I dont think that a crash means crumple... but i think it means crash chaching...

The tires are R-compound, which are pretty much a semi-slick after a couple of laps.

The wheels are Advan RG's, and they are expensive. :)

Not RG's :) Those are RGII's and they are not available for purchase just yet so the price is also unknown. Anyways very beautiful and good wheels :)

And I had a feeling that this HKS EVO VIII will brake that record..
Any thoughts if this will effect the prices of HKS products?

Advan RG1 and RG2 are the same design, same spoke, same obscene price as every other Advan wheel.

HKS has always had inflated prices, and those prices have only risen through the years.

What's new?

Nice 👍

Can you post some pics? :)

I'm also looking for the new shoes for my mitsi. Thinking of RG's or the ralliart's R-01... :)

Sorry guys for the OT..

You should buy those $100.00 7 sided lug nuts to go with your wheels..

I should of said, "my wheels when Rishie get's my money". In the meantime, here they are on his car. "17 RPF1

Maybe you guys should start a new thread to talk about your wheels...;)

Still ain't a wheel out there that can touch the TE37s. Except the CE28Ns, of course.

Oh, by the way, that FC's kickass. 👍

I was just looking through the newest HKS catalogue and guess what, the prices on all of their hard-items (exhausts, turbos, cams) went up.. Amazing!

Wow, thanks HKS I think I just lost interest in the Tsukuba lap record. I mean, WTF does that Evo VIII have in common with a street car?

SFA, that's what.

Please, Japanese tuners, can we have a new track with new records and new guidelines on what constitutes a street car???
