Motegi Super is the only high speed oval in Japan as of 2005 and the only one in this game. A high speed track is where drafting comes into it's own. Also this track really illustrates the need to hug a turn's apex. If your pour on the throttle too much, you'll find yourself drifting to the outside and lose seconds off your lap time despite the steep bank. This could be the closet race of the series.

This should be a very competitive race. Trying to squeeze out that extra tenth/hundrenth/thousandth of a second.

raVer: A 40 Horse bike , Street Tyres , Range 8

Don't know what you mean by this? But I'm in the 3 range as stated above. I double checked my stats and the HP is correct. And it is a RM bike.

raVer: I tried this one with my favourite bike (I think it was a race in "Street Machine Cup" Series)

Cool, just wanted to be sure.

you must be psychic t, because that's exactly where i am at the moment :D

oldmodelt kneels down and looks to the sky. "There is a GOD! I can almost reach out and touch him." But then I'd crash and get the penalty and have a crappy time. :ouch: And not make the podium. And contemplate suicide.

Just another fun week of racing. :)

“ I'm currently in the middle of range 3.”

Have improved. In top half of range 3.

Hi guys,

(very) long time no see

i'm at range 2 ;-)

Glad to see you. oldmodelt is very glad that he will finish one place lower this week. :)

edit: Have sent out race notice to everyone who has entered series in the past. Many already know. And hope nobody minds the deadline reminders I send out each week. With RL, sometimes people forget. If you don't want to receive them, just pm me next time you receive it and I'll take you off the list. :)

no probs here with your reminders Mark, very handy thankyou 👍

I've dipped into Range 2 also, just to keep mt company. :sly:

The reminders have come in handy before. My CRS tends to kick in after a busy Summer weekend.

Have 6 pm's so far. All for the race I think. Will open after the deadline. Happy with the turnout.

edit: two of the pm's were to inform me that they could make it this week.

see you all at Autumn Ring :D

A close (as I expected) week! 1/2 sec between 1st and 5th place. Pm me if you want me to add your video to the thread. Working on getting mine up and running.

Viperin - Hoping to catch up with some video production work this weekend, in between watching the World Cup ( my heart says Aus but my head says Brazil

I'm happy for my Stanley Cup Champs. Chicago Blackhawks. :)

That is some close racing 👍
I'll admit I had reached my limit ( or thought I had ) so am surprised to have ended up doing okay.

The photo of the finish would be spectacular

Loved the way he went wide in the first turn to build up that speed. Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself. I hugged the corner. Thought the shorter line would help. Obviously not.

Added to thread. 👍

i actually went a bit wide imo, normally i don't go that high.

But like u see, double apex's for life :) (on this circuit)

while we're discussing your lap mt, imo you'd have got an even better time if you hadn't cut across for
the 2nd turn quite so soon

clearly i'm not trying to tell you how to do it, because as illustrated by your lap, you know very well :D

just my opinion though :)

No your right their, that's why i missed the second apex in that corner. 2 tiny mistakes in this lap, so their was still room for improvement, but i couldn't get it out :-)

u can bitter mis the first apex and nail the second one cause that's when u get speed
