Hi.

I'm new to this site, so I hope I've posted in the right place. I was wondering if anyone wanted to "show me yours" if "I show you mine".

I only use a DualShock directional buttons technique, so I still have a lot to improve on my lap time as I'm still getting the hang of getting out of corners with minimal wheel spin. Anyhow, currently 225th with 1: 03.951

Here's my setup
Automatic
Comfort Soft
Traction Off
ABS 1

Engine: Stage 2
Intake System: Sports Manifold
Exhaust: Titanium Semi-Racing
Transmission: Top Speed set at 143

Drivetrain:
Carbon drive shaft
Initial Torque: 50
Acceleration Sensitivity 40
Braking Sensitivity 20

Suspension
Ride Height F 0 / R -25
Spring Rate F7.8 / R 5.5
Dampers Extension F6/ R6
Dampers Compression F6/F6
Anti Roll Bars F3 / R3

Wheel Alignment
Camber F(+4.0) / R(+5.5)
Toe F 0.00 / R -0.50

Breaks
F 5 / R5

As you can see I'm not done yet, for sure I need to fix the break balance. However, I'm a complete novice at changing the setup: Any advice on mistakes I've made, etc, etc would greatly be appreciated and I hope this thread will act as a forum to share all types of setup for this race.

p.s. Note that the new number 1 (eclipsi_RC) is using a different car, the CUSCO SABARU ADVAN IMPREZA '03. This car seems to really have more Torque, perhaps it's time to give it a go!!

Cheers,

Moved to the tuning section.

And welcome to GTPlanet, rhpamman82.

Hi again,

the S2000 R1'04

I have changed the toe to f-0.15 / r-0.20
Lowered the suspension F-23 / R-23
Changed the Breaks F-10 / R-1

It's a shame more people are not reading and posting on this thread. That set-up got me a 1:02.951 (about that I think). Currently, 62nd.

Q: Where do you get the DUNLOP SABARU from? I wouldn't mind giving that a spin as well.

that subaru is in the dealership.. im guna test this tune now on my standard s2000

oh right, forgot there was two of them, which is on the leaderboard? there is an older year model standard version model of cuscu also; i'm thinking '03 is the old one i have...

leexr2i,

please let me know how to get rid of the twitchy back end if you can. My biggest problem is getting good acceleration out of the second main corner.

I will post any improvements my end, I am sure I get this down to a 1:02.000 flat or less if the tune is right.

that lsd setting was good for me! i still cant get passed 1.05.740..
tho im not useing the amuse r1, just a normal s2000..
i used your tune, but found your lsd settings way to slippy.. and was geting 1.07s, when i played with the lsd with the settings above, it was 2sec faster.

Here´s my setup for the S2000 R1.
Dont know if it´s good or not, because I´m new to making setups, but I managed to achieve a quite satisfying time with it.

Drivetrain:
Carbon drive shaft
Initial Torque: 5
Acceleration Sensitivity 60
Braking Sensitivity 10

Suspension
Ride Height F -25 / R -25
Spring Rate F12.5 / R 10.2
Dampers Extension F7/ R6
Dampers Compression 66/R5
Anti Roll Bars F3 / R2

Wheel Alignment
Camber F(-4.0) / R(-2.0)
Toe F 0.00 / R 0.20

Breaks
F 5 / R 5

But more important than the setup is to make sure not to floor the pedal too early.

I'm using the 350Z '03

fastest lap so far is 1:04.010

-20 -18
15.7 13.2
9 7
6 4
1 2

camber 3 3
toe .35 .25

still a work in progress..... not sure this car can even compete with the cars others are using...... we'll see.
